My dad is turning 59 this year, he is also an old fashioned Farmer like your dad. It impresses me every once in a while how much we young guns can learn from them, even though the old guys are wrong too sometimes. The thing with the levers and the metal is absolutely true, if there is only plastic and electric in the machinery you cant even repair it by yourself most of the time ;) we got a Case 844XL on our mixer wagon, it does a cracking job and never lets us down.

Thank you, Tom. You all have done so well. Tractors are a necessity. It was interesting to hear you talk about the hours of operation. I think in terms of miles on an engine. Load of course plays such and important role in wear. And maintenance is key. I was amazed to see the tractors on the beach in Lytham with tarps over the engine then to see how close you are to the coast and the seagulls in the field after you plowed it. I drive to Cocoa Beach for my job. Cars start having rust issues after two years in the salt air. Just amazing!!! I hope that you have a shed for the equipment so the salt doesn't get to them as bad. Reminds me, I should wash my car this weekend, although we have had allot of rain-our wet season. Thank you again for the brilliant vid. I know the next tractor will have air conditioning. speaking from a position of having built the CASE IH tractors in the Racine, WI plant, the valves were all switched over to the electrical ones because of manufacturing costs.
