'All men are created equal' sounds delusional religious to me. Even women and children are equally important to others as any other. People are not 'created' equal. We evolved biologically to understand equality, the main process in which by removing religion from public laws and public education (since clearly religion informs us that they are not all equal to themselves). A better saying would be: All people have equal rights. Some of these old outdated sayings remain in our society, but we are progressively removing even those from speech. The fire authority people or police are equally as important as a lady driving past with her children. We give ourselves importance, just as any other species gives their own species importance. This is the process of evolution to survive as a species even with changes over time. Otherwise they wouldn't evolve at all.
