You sound a like you have a bit of a cold the past couple videos Tim, hope you are getting over it and feeling better. I bought a set of the Edge Tamers last winter based on your recommendation and R2 was a pleasure to do business with. I ordered a different type than I was initially planning to after a conversation with them. They are more interested in selling the right product than selling a product. I referred my brother to them and he had an equally good experience with them. Thank you for the work you do to vet your partners as it makes it easy for your viewers to extend our trust in you to them and quickly find solutions without having to spend a lot of time on research. Happy Sunday!

That Ez crank is great. I was about to cut a bolt head off and weld it on the end of my jack so I could use a socket. Now I'll buy a cheap socket and drill a hole in the end 👍

I'm a big fan of Ken's Bolt-on products. Right after getting my bucket, I added his hooks and love having them. And two years ago, after getting tired of my seat bottoming out while going over the smallest bumps, I replaced my seat springs with his seat springs and the difference was amazing.

I really like your selection of your products that you've picked!! I really like the edge tamer it worked really well last year.. if you do have the driveway I would definitely recommend going with the skid pad type where it doesn't damage your driveway.. I really want that seat, but I’m going to wait for the installation video first before placing an order.. I don’t care that it doesn’t flip up or rotate but I want to see how far back the slider tracks will allow it to move. I use my stock 1025R seat in the fully back position and I want any upgrade seat to give me at least that much clearance space for my legs.

I need to order more bolt on hooks. I broke the 2 I had on my 5075e. I was trying to use the tractor as an anchor to get a john deere 700j dozer unstuck. They will not hold the weight of the 5075e and an extra 1,000lbs of weight on rear wheels in the air, or the 700j just has too much winch power. Lol

We have a storm coming tomorrow and the edge tamers for the box blade got me thinking… my 54” rear blower and or front HLA pusher blade cuts in bad this time of year as there is no frozen ground. The shoes are only about 1 1/4 wide roughly and cut into the ground.
@m9ovich78511 ай бұрын
I had the tamers on My Kioti Bucket and took them off in favor of 3/4" pipe on the bottom. Welded to an old Cutting edge. I'd usually pack down the 1st few layers of Snow to create a nice base . No issues with digging in anymore.

Hey Tim! Hope you get to feeling better soon. Just wanted to chim in and mention something my dealer told me about the hood release. It was designed so the operator uses the key from the ingnition to open the hood. This was done to prevent people from being in the engine compartment while its running. Hope that helps!! Still like the work around though. Have a blessed Christmas.

Hi Tim. You mentioned the front axle was leaking on your 3R. I’ve read that some guy’s have put the vent hose on and the axle quit leaking. Not saying it will but may be worth a try if the seal isn’t in bad shape. Thanks for another great video. I’m forwarding this video to the finance committee for further review. 😃

my 4 series will leak when used a lot on hot days, pinion seal, but then stops on cooler days even though I have filled the axle. So I bet you are right. It will probaly stop leaking after vented.

I do not like pushing snow with my bucket but the edge tamers make it much easier. 3 3 inch on 53 inch bucket. I use my tractor on the beach a lot. My mat and bolt head recesses are always full of sand. Those little caps are interesting. I can't believe I have not bought one of Ken's diff lock caps. Working on the beach I am usually wearing Crocs, it is difficult to tell if it's locked up. As in previous years you have brought up many good items.

With the pro ride seat it said won’t work with the backhoe but wondered is that with either backhoe model? Wondered if it couldn’t swivel around with the older 260 or lean forward with the newer 260B. Going to guess someone with a plan would figure it out and make it work. No problems with my current seat but I’d rather get the Ken’s bolt on springs a lot cheaper than a whole new seat. Only machine I got here that could use a new seat is dads older 1974 410 JD backhoe

Bonjour Tim. I need information about top link for measure. Center to center of the holes. Retract all the way, then extend all the way. Measure each approach. …then, error on a bit shorter in my opinion.

Good morning, I recently purchased the suspension seat for my 1025R. I have complained about the seat on this tractor since day 1. In fact was even looking at other tractors to possibly trade until this new seat was on the market. Did you have to modify the front panel when installing this seat? It doesn't seem to line up quite right and I'm thinking I may need to trim around the new seat brackets just a little to get everything to fit correctly.
@TractorTimewithTim Жыл бұрын
I was able to get it to fit…I think you are discussing the panel which has the rate of control knob etc. I had to remove this to install…and yes, I had difficulty getting it back in place. I just kept putting…finally getting it in place
@markbrause3608 Жыл бұрын
Yes that is the panel. Thanks for the input. I had to reorder one of the seat brackets, company accidently sent me two left brackets. Called them and they sent corrected one out right away, unfortunately, it was sent USPS and mail service has been extremely slow. Tracking shows it has been sitting in Cleveland distribution center now for several days. Hopefully it will get here this coming week. While I have been waiting , I was looking at how that panel might go back in there and it seems pretty tight. Thanks for all the informative videos. I have used information from these a lot over the years. @@TractorTimewithTim
@A48L16S09136611 ай бұрын
Yep, that is why I am waiting on the installation video. To be ready to do any necessary mods and have the tools and parts ready to go.
@markbrause360811 ай бұрын
Actually, it didn't go together all that bad. It is tight, but it did snap together with no modifications necessary. The company accidently sent 2 left handed brackets, I contacted them and they got the correct bracket out to me right away along with a return postage paid label to return the incorrect one. All in all, I would recommend this company any time. They were very good to work with and the seat is nearly identical to the seat that is on my Z930M. @@A48L16S091366

Am I the only one that's had trouble with Isotunes? I bought 3 pairs last year. One for myself and two were given as Christmas presents. They were the Isotunes Xtras 2.0. All three of us liked the features and thought they were great. Unfortunately 1 pair overheated and started melting. The other two pairs won't keep a charge and one of those no longer will charge at all. Bad batch or is this typical?

Thanks. You wouldn’t believe how much effort it takes to get these tractor specific products to market.
