Tracy Chapman with a guitar live ...doesn't get any better , everything she does Is pure gold .

The story of how she out of nowhere during Nelson Mandela birthday tribute concert at Wembley Stadium, went on stage. It was just her and her acoustic guitar-in front of 70,000 restless fans, and millions of TV viewers. No one knew who she really was. She was not meant to have been there, but because of issues. They asked people to go out there, but no one wanted, because people where getting annoyed, and she did it. And she has been a legend ever since. She silenced everyone, with just her acoustic guitar and a microphone.

I got into Tracy Chapman back in the mid 80s. Her story telling while so musically skilled is some of the easiest to listen to music I've heard.... One can really hear the emotions in her voice. 💘 🎶 You should see her first appearance on stage where she fills in for a band that cancelled... She blew the audience away with just her voice and acoustic guitar

I have seen Tracy live in Paris in 1988 at the Human Rights Now concert. And it was so impressive. That little girl, solo on that huge stage, and everybody was silent when she sung..... Again, it was very impressive. And very good!

Hello Bisscute, wow, now you really struck a chord with me with this song, how can I not remember it along with Fast Car, perhaps their greatest success, two beauties of songs that I loved when they came out. Tracy Chapman!! Wow, I hadn't heard from her in a while, was it a coincidence, or did you schedule her for her recent performance at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles? Well, anyway, the fact is that he is here on your channel to delight us with his incredible voice and those beautiful lyrics. Once again, you were very successful with this guest. For another occasion, I want to suggest Amanda Miguel performing the song El me mintió, in the more mature version, I think that over time, she sang it even better than when she was young, I think it could impress you. Thank you and a special hug on International Women's Day, from Mexico City. Beautiful weekend.

Tracy Chapman is great, but if I'm being honest, I don't know this song. I really only know the two big hit songs she had back in the day, "Fast Car" and "Give Me One Reason", but they're great songs, and she's obviously very talented. I do remember when she first became popular with "Fast Car", which is a great song, and really blew everyone away at the time, but I think the story going around then was that she had previously been homeless. Which probably was true at some point, but was also probably exaggerated at the time, because "Fast Car" is a song about living in poverty, and I think they were trying to market her with this whole "rags to riches" story, which again, probably was true to some extent, but maybe exaggerated some?
