Remember ladies, don't be with a guy who expects a trad wife without being a traditional husband.

Influencers aside, being a traditional wife requires putting a lot of your life in someone else's hands. Which requires a tremendous amount of trust. And in order to trust that someone, he needs to have good will and act in good faith. Which is increasingly rarer these days

Exactly! And what’s insane is that en in there spaces are very open about not intending to act in good faith. So what motivation do we really have to trust them? None whatsoever

If you're referring to the black manosphere...I do NOT take them seriously. There are sooo many other things they can talk about solving. For instance, they should be telling young black men marry instead of being a baby daddy. So what if she takes half? Being a baby daddy, if you don't keep up with child support, you're not going to even have a driver's license, good credit...you cant rent or buy a house, apartment or car..let alone give someone half of your assets that you never had to begin with. But, keep letting them be dumb and getting exposed and investigated by the FBI. Oh well.

The real question is half of what exactly. A lot of of these men go into marriage with nothing but they’ll use their woman to build them up and then think they did it all themselves. And you’re exactly right yet they would rather whine about child support being unfair instead of being good fathers. What’s unfair is bringing a child into this world knowing you don’t plan on taking care of them.

And yeah, I think there was a stat that said like 90% of men make less than 100k per year. So most women aren’t out here just meeting generous “protectors and providers” lol. But at least those women are getting their own bags

It just isn’t worth the risk in my book, especially with how open they’re being now about their emotional negligence and infidelity.

I’m a Christian too. I grew up listening to independent fundamental baptist preaching and still believe in salvation by grace through faith and eternal security but I still feel like I can live a successful Christian life without a husband or children and find purpose in contending for the gospel and while I know my eternity is secure I still want Jesus to say well done good and faithful servant. I’ve been a believer since 11 or 12 and I’m 24 now and really see Gods hand of protection on my life and my greatest joy is talking about the gospel and the hope we have in Jesus. I have a great life and have a lot of peace because I know God is always with me and in a way is my own kindsman redeemer like in the book of Ruth. I am unsure of who I’ll end up with or if I’ll end up with anyone but even if I lose everything in my life I wanna have the attitude that job had which is “the Lord giveth and taketh away blessed be the name of the Lord”

I never understood why they tell women to give up a job and education in the middle of an economic crisis.

This exactly! That is such a dangerous thing to do 😭

A lot of people who promote the trad wife lifestyle are adamantly against divorce which for me if I do get married i never even wanna have divorce on the table between me and my husband so I want to get married in my 30s as opposed to my 20s because the divorce rate for people who get married in their 20s is super high. For people against divorce they should advocate getting married a little older. If I do have a child I only want 1 I’m 24 now so I don’t feel pressed for time biologically that much.
@AllMixedUpMGM6 ай бұрын
Makes sense! But then they’ll say don’t get married in your 30s because you’ve hit the wall so they can’t make up their minds
