If the Dodgers could trade CT3 they would. I don’t understand the need for fans to denigrate the guy. He’s had iconic moments for the Dodgers.

Outman will be the new hated one, Dodgers fans are brutal!

At the risk of being bombarded, I'll take the opposing position on Taylor. On June 13 his OPS was .306. Basically at that point in the season he and Jose Abreu could have drawn straws for who was the worst hitter in MLB. From June 14 to the end of the year he slashed .276/.370/.439 with a 25% strikeout rate. On June 13 his bWAR was -1.2. It ended at -0.1, meaning that he had a positive bWAR 1.1 in 143 plate appearances. He made substantial changes to his stance and his load in early June and again in mid July. Finally, from September 2 through the end of the playoffs, he started 11 games and the Dodgers were 10-1 in those games and scored an even 100 runs. Overall he had a terrible season, no doubt, but he wasn't the automatic out that everyone says he was from June 14 on. Go ahead and trade him or DFA him but some team will definitely pick him up and I would expect a bounce back of some measure in 2025.

Doders should have front loaded Taylors contract making the 4th year a little easier to eat if needed.

How about people just chill out and be patient. We just won a WS. Our organization is the envy of every other team and their fan bases. Clearly, the front office knows what they are doing. Stop being spoiled brats, people.

Outman and Taylor have had plenty of time to develop in this lineup. Neither one has shown any promise.

Outman had 150 plate appearances last year. Nobody, not even the best baseball scouts, can determine any young player’s ability to mature into a player worthy of being in the MLB. Outman has a very good year in 2023 when he was given enough runway to adequately develop. Last year he didn’t play as well in his 150 plate appearances, but is such a limited sample size to determine what his outlook for future performance will be. Any of the coaches at the AAA team would also say that 150 plate appearances is too small a sample size to make any reliable judgements on any player’s ability at the major league level.

Vince - This kind of focus on trading players is leading to negativity towards players who were on the team that just won the Series. If Rojas, Outman & Taylor were on the team that just won the Series, there is no dire need to move them. This whole chatter about who should be traded only serves to focus negativity towards certain players and casting those players as lesser-than and unworthy of being on the team. If decisions are made to trade players, that is the call of the FO, as they develop whatever strategy is employed to trade players. In the meantime, constantly talking about who can be / should be traded is just focusing unnecessary negativity on the players these discussions focus on. Whomever anyone thinks are the worst players on the team, they still were good enough to help the team win the Series. Because I don’t think this kind of chatter is productive and doesn’t help the team in any way whatsoever. Any trades that might be made are going to be made based upon what the FO thinks is best for the team and not what fans think is best for the team. Because I think this kind of chatter is spreading unnecessary negativity and has no productive purpose, I will no longer engage in videos on this channel that are on the same or similar topic of this video. I view all players currently in the rosters as worthy of being on the team and won’t proactively engage in identifying any player as expendable or unworthy of being on the team as that would simply be dogging a player or players won we good enough to have just won the Series. I respect you and your right to discuss whatever you want on your channel and I generally support you and the channel, but I just won’t support discussion along the lines of the topic of this video. Regards, D.

Miggy Ro is not going anywhere, he is a Dodger for life, probably on track to be a Coach and possibly Manager one day.

Get real. I'm sure everybody thought the same thing for Justin Turner and now look at him. Hell, the best thing going for JT Is being Dave Roberts replacement when he eventually retires so Miggy Ro has to wait in line.
