Varsho one of the better Jays great defense and good at the plate. The problem is John Schneider. The Jays are a good team under performing Atkins got rid of the poor outfield, glad we did not sign Chapman even thou we offered the best deal, Ohtani was never coming to Toronto, Jansen is the #1 catcher. So what trade did you not like.

@@christopherblack4520 are you Atkins' burner account? He traded away good hitters and an elite catcher and signed or obtained players that can't hit. Varsho sucks at the plate. Outfield defense won't matter when good teams hit it over the fence. The jays have a -30 run differential.

Varsho is one of the better hitters this year plus his defense saves games like yesterday 9th inning catch, The good hitters that were traded cost games due to poor arms and outfield misses. Sadly we traded a good catcher but we have Jansen , if he stays healthy is better hitter. When you have the entire team under performing at the plate you have to point the finger at John Schneider and coaches. Sickness and injuries were a problem for the Jays this year,

@@christopherblack4520 varsho sucks. Varsho is good for infield popups and strikeouts. Boston won the World Series with Steve Pearce in left field simply because he can hit. He won world series MVP too. Trading away Hernandez, Gurriel Jr., and Moreno has turned the blue Jays offense into almost an unwatchable team against any decent pitcher.

@@XFactor1111 Sounds like you do not watch any games if you did you would have seen Varsho is one of the better Jays. Hernandez cost more runs than he produced, in the playoffs 2 out field errors and a poor arm no runs next year traded. Gurriel Jr. poor arm high strikeout rate cannot give him the contract he got this year, he would not be a Jay. Moreno would not get the play time Jansen is better. I would like to trade Kirk too slow.

He was the one who kept drafting well filling the braves system with talent like Spencer Strider etc. AA is the one who when Acuna went down for the season a few years ago made multiple trades that turned the Braves season around winning them a world series. Atkins is capable of none of this, he neither drafts well or trades well. Not only is the Jays major league team one of the highest paid teams in baseball, its a bad team. The minor league system is ranked as one of the worst in MLB because Atkins is incapable of finding and developing talent. Almost every pick he ever made is a complete bust. The vast majority of the Jays roster is either players AA drafted or overpaid free agent signings.

@@janetd5121 The Braves have a lower ranked farm system than the Jays, the Braves will not win the world serious since AA has not improved the team from years past failures while other teams improved. Alex did not build the Braves, He did build the Jays team of cry babies, bad contracts, slow , injury prone who did not win anything. Who did the worst trade in blue Jays history Thor for Dickey.

Hey guys. This trade package I could get behind. Agree it’s a retool then. Farm system needs way better prospects. Then you trade, Garcia, kikuchi, if we can’t resign jano maybe him also. Then focus on offence next offseason and bring in 2 solid middle lineup bats that will put fear into opposing pitchers. Toronto fans: Luciano isn't as good as you think. First of all, he's yet to play a full year, dude gets hurt ALOT. His power #s are way down & he can't play SS in the Majors. Now Wisenhunt will be a stud. LHP with a plus plus change-up. Instead of Luciano they should ask for Eldridge or Walker Martin

trading Bo now would be a bad move. although he has had a good couple of weeks, he is still having a down year and his value is not at its peak. furthermore, i do not think that atkins has the intelligence or balls to do it. i see him remaining with the jays through this season and next. if the jays are out of the race next season, i can see him being traded at the deadline, not before.

But Im 100% positive that Rogers would have something to say about this deal. You think that Rogers just spent 200m to entertain fans with some a couple of players that wont be ready for another 3-5 yrs?. I am confused we gave up the #4 prospect in all of baseball and an all star left fielder for a complete garbage player in Varsho. Bo is 100x the player Varsho is and you are saying a #54 prospect and a LHP that's not in the top 100 is a good trade package I would tend to disagree. I know we got fleeced for Varsho but we need to get something similar for Bo I would think

Luciano .. .743 OPS, 1 HR, 44K/128ABs, 7 errors/32 games. Sounds like a taller version of Franklin Barreto. Whisenhunt ... 23 years old, has not thrown more than 65 innings ever including NCAA. Strikes out a lot of batters but walks a crap load too. BTW, he is averaging 3.5 innings per start so far with ERA over 6.00 in AAA. Sounds like a left-handed Luis Patino. SF prospects are crap which is why they may be willing to trade them. If you want Barreto and Patino, I am sure they would not cost you Bichette.
