I’m just glad you didn’t swap the gt3 for a huracan or something like that. This is literally an update. Can’t wait to see what you’ll do to it ( probably not much as it’s already perfect maybe just a personal touch ). I always loved racing purple and the way you mixed it with yellow is gorgeous. You are going to struggle big time without the front axel lift… look to see if KW have one for this model, I had a KW axel lift on my GT3, it worked great.

@@Tombomb1816 agreed, must have been someone who has never had or driven a 911, the front is so low and with so much overhang in front of the wheels even little bumps, rises, curbs and drives are impossible to negotiate without, I found out the hard way with my first, hence having to put a KW lift kit on otherwise I would have not been able to use it or even get the car on my drive so would have sold it without this option

Take it on an angle. He has enough low cars he will be fine. While I will admit we have axle lift on ours, I rarely find myself using it unless its an extremely steep drive and want extra caution.

@@jamest5149 Dude, you do not need a front axle lift system on a 911. To specify, you do not need a front axle lift system in Florida. You will never find a single slope, and if you do, you can either evade it or take on an angle.

28:40 i have to deal with that all the time too in my Miata, its really the worst placement possible. You can mitigate the problem by having a taller shift lever/knob so you can more comfortably reach around the drink but it doesn’t solve the problem 100%

Great car congrats. I think Porsche gt3 has the fastest shifting manual transmission. You might ask how? The driver shifts? Well it has short throw, it's extremely precise, has flat floor shift mode, auto blip and more making anybody shift faster than with regular manual. 22:38 it has hill start it will automatically engage handbrake. And you can still do hand brake turn with e brake they engage quick especially on porsche. But the big advantage is hill start hold.

BTW, good for you pal. The 992 is absolutely incredible!! Ultra Violet is probably my favorite color on the GT3s, aside from maybe Miami Blue! Absolutely dream car material for me - been my favorite road going car ever since the 996 dropped - most particularly the 996 GT3 RS when I saw the Top Gear episode (GT3 RS vs 360 CS). Enjoy it!
