Taco Bell was the only restaurant to survive the Franchise Wars. Now all restaurants are Taco Bell.

Taco Bell tacos are so skimpy, they could not sell me one on any day of the week. Not worth the money. Never heard of Taco John. Taco Tuesday has been around far longer (+50 years) than either restaurant. I remember Taco Tuesday when I was 7, I am 68 now. Them them both to shut up and go home.

Baker's has Taco John's beat, they have been using it in the Inland Empire since at least the mid 1980's.

Baker's had a Tuesday Special Tacos 5 for 0.75 in 1967 they were using Taco Tuesday in 1976 and many other restaurants and bars use Taco Tuesday 1970s' and 1980s before Taco John’s for the trademark
