this seems to be extremely Nerv recking more so on the EYE's . this is the reason i am trying to put together a Script that would take in all this DATA Analyze it and Trigger your Buy Sell signal . now U can take a Break . U have to admit it is Better then Sitting in front of a Screen for hr's . what your ( Opinion ) 1

I see this happening also in microstructures not only in this big moves, I recently started to trade off the DOM only and I see this pattern many many times, the market try to sell aggressively with big market orders but can't get anywhere and after a bit it retrace back to the upside, also if sometimes is just 7/8/9 ticks, these are the most consistent and good risk/reward ratio trades I make. It literally happen anywhere. What do you think about that?

To limit confusion about these moves, it would be good to understand distribution theory on market and volume profiles to find key levels, also the more you utilize the DOM you’ll be able to discern between these fake moves and real moves, watch the accumulation of the orders and the reaction of larger movers

Question: I know that trading view is real time data but tradovate isn't right? because I'm on demo for tradovate right now and I chart on trading view and the prices doesn't match, tradovate would be like 2-3 points off always. But I thought they said that demo or live trader would get real time data O_O

What is preventing price from moving lower if there are so many people selling so low? And why does price pop so easily to the opposite direction? Please excuse my lack of knowledge here.

Hi Michael! No worries, its the weak selling that comes in at lows and creates stuck shorts with buyers coming in at these points of exhaustion. usually it is absorption in the market at lows where buyers take advantage and start piling in to create the reversal. Its a stuck short that turns into a buy stop run.

Don't, that platform is basically motivewave, and it's trash for DOM trading, yes the platform isn't bad if you need a lot of indicators and it had good footprint charts, but if you want to focus on the DOM (and I think it's a good idea) don't use that platform, the DOM is slow and too mechanic also with Rithmic data. The best DOM on the market are jigsaw, the new Bookmap DOM pro and obviously Trading Technologies or TT. I believe that bookmap is better than jigsaw tho. TT is the best but it's a bit expensive 735$ per month or you pay 0.50$ in commission per side. But it's a great software made for professional.
