Thankyou for the information on the clean ingredient Trader Joe’s products. I will try the organic grilled chicken and cauliflower pizza crust.

You are so welcome! Just fyi...when making the pizza with cauliflower thins, be careful when picking them up. Sometimes I just use a fork and knife but as a healthy option, there amazing and I use them weekly. Hope you enjoy!😉

Since I don't live near a TJ's, I don't go that often, and then get overwhelmed, so thanks for breaking it down a bit. Most of the items I've seen in TJ's, although they sound tasty are too high in sodium and simple carbs for my everyday use (I "save" my sodium for things like sausage, olives, miso etc or eating in a restaurant , when it cannot be avoided). I've had the frozen artichokes, they are very good. The organic grilled chicken sounds great to make a quick chicken salad.

I agree, sometimes the foods are a little more processed than I would like. I try to stick with as few ingredients as possible. But hopefully I was able to point out some options that will work. Thank you for watching, I appreciate the feedback!😉

Fantastic finds! the organic grilled chicken (precooked) and cauliflower thins for sandwiches would be great GF options for us to travel with! Even those rolled oats/ancient grains would be great to precook and take along on trips! You never disappointed Darren 😊

I agree, simple for those days when you just want healthy foods quick but don't feel like cooking. We all have those times...Lol A little tip on the thins, put lettuce or greens between the protein if you make burgers. Then the juice won't make them fall apart. I actually like to throw them in a toaster. Thank you so much! I always appreciate the love...🥰

Another great post! Thank you for clarifying on the kefir what the sugar does in our guts. And the turk burgers are a steal -- even if you defrost and use for taco meat! Best, from Colorado!

Honestly, there was a lot of great GF (and new products I had not seen before at my TJ) in this video! I’d love love to see a GF Costco vlog. Question, would you purchase a TJ heirloom whole chicken over the organic whole chicken? Meat/chicken terms and labels are becoming just as confusing as dairy labels are🧐 “No antibiotics ever”? “All natural”? Is grass fed always grass finished? What even is “grass finished”?😵💫Another great video idea, clarifying all this😉❤

Great Ideas! Thank you...I will work on putting something together.

I agree the labels and marketing are out of control and should be tightly regulated. I would be lying if I told you I could taste the difference between organic or heirloom. I personally care about the welfare of the animal and if it has been given antibiotics or GMO feed. I do think what the animal eats has an indirect effect on our bodies. Now with that being said, supposedly neither heirloom or organic chickens are fed anything with antibiotics or GMO's. Conventional poultry is often raised in sizable flocks, so when disease strikes, it can quickly get passed from bird to bird. In order to control the spread of illness-causing bacteria, and to encourage birds to grow faster, producers might preemptively introduce antibiotic medicines into a flock's feed, rather than trying to isolate the affected animals. Heirloom chickens are pasture-raised on locally grown non-GMO feed depending on the farm/producer for the best tasting chicken - more flavorful, juicier and more tender. This is a topic I will be doing much more research on. It looks like it could get really deep.

Thank you for coming to the comments just to tell him that. As someone who has been in healthcare for 16 years, I have read in medical textbooks as well as heard gastroenterologists use both terms. So both are correct. Opinions are always welcome even when they’re wrong. Have a great day!

Low priced? Seemed expensive to me
@healthylivingrite9 ай бұрын
Some of the prices are good, unfortunately all groceries are just getting out of control...What bothers me the most is food items with 50 ingredients on the label cost less than healthier options with two or three ingredients. That is a real travesty. Thank you for watching ma'am!
