Wow great reality check for me.. I feel like I take 2 step forward and 3 step back everytime in day trading. I know now it’s more than technicals. It’s emotionals, it’s being impulsive when things aren’t working out a few time in a row. Minute 17: "the only thing you have control of is how much you gonna loose". I really like LT channel, but this just wrong. The only thing you realy are in control of is how much shares you buy (or sell in case of shorting) for price X, given you stop-limit order plus the time you enter into a stock. Anything else comes with tolerances. I lost nearly 3R on a stock because in aftermarket/pre-hours it went well beyond my SL of 1R. And even if the stock opens within you SL-area you still might get slippage. So again: wrong.

That’s an exception not the rule. By what you wrote then I can even say that you can’t control how many shares you buy, what if you don’t get filled or get skipped ? See my point ? Focus on what works most of the time not everytime. Nothing works everytime

I have been trading the SPY 0dte for the past several months and I know for a fact that I am good enough to trade this security, as I have been an active trader for 4 years now. I am 700.00 down just in fees and am about 100.00 down YTD. I cannot seem to hold my position, every time it goes a little bit against me, the second I start to see red I sell and then it goes in my direction.
