Started my trading journey in 2017 I came across this channel in 2018. I listened to a few episodes and videos and I thought this was nonsense. 2019 February I humbled myself as I was losing my ass off and I started to binge on VP and followed his advice to the letter. Now trading technically live for the second month now. Last month was my first profitable month trading Forex and I will have second one this month. I can never thank you enough VP you're on God level. South Africa Cape Town salutes you.

I've been one week away from the charts with 3 open positions, I asked my lovely 22 y.o. daughter to send me screen shots of them every night to check my algo, I even taught her how to trail SL from break even to locking some profit, actually is something I could've done myself on the phone, but I wanted her to slowly get into trading... LOL Easy rules, easy to follow, no emotions involved, great VP!

When transposed, these takeaways seem to be very useful to have on and off your trading software; an especially great example is how Mark Douglas' stated that the bulk of our trading errors arise from the "fear of pain". All common irrational fears such as, for instance, striking a conversation with that hot girl [social anxiety] arise from the fear of being rejected, which (due to the way the majority of people perceive rejection) evokes pain. Remarkable, realistic (almost painfully lol) insight as always VP! Stay relentless!

Strangely enough, by reading Mark Douglas's book, it led me to your videos in a roundabout sort of way. I was/am just convinced this game is beatable and was ready to listen to anyone I felt was credible (which is even harder than finding a good exit indicator!) , who put time into explaining and teaching a good money management system alongside and equal to the psychology and analysis. It takes a lot of convincing for me to invest my time into something, but this is without doubt worth it.

I read this brilliant book a year ago. This is when two things happened to me which was a game changer with my trading. I read it and then found VP's youtube channel. And I'm still reverting back to the book.. once upon a time I was a panic trader and I admit I was celebrating the win and ignoring the losses which on reflection was much greater.. via VP's advice I now have a really good system which is rigid, I now just trade the weekly chart.. I don't sweat about what the candles are doing, I watch and trust my indicators for entries and exits.. and I have absolutely loads and loads of free time.. so really simply.. if the weekly candle opens below or above my base line.. the previous 2 weekly candles have closed in the direction the new candle is going and all my indicators say go, I'm in the trade.. I don't worry about it from then.. my system and money management keeps me safe. The last 3 months have fortunately been all been profitable months.. so what I have learnt is don't try and beat the chart...don't try and beat trend and the direction .. you just need to beat the psychology, and more so your own stupidity..

I dint think telling everyone and showing ur results to everyone is a good idea cuz it will put u under pressure of getting a positive result everytime cuz now u need to prove it to other people, so subconsciously it's fucking up ur psychology, keep trading to urself make money and be happy :)

VP: "...you shouldn't have anything forex related on your phone ..." Mark Douglas: "...to trade, all you need is a telephone ..." However, Mark was talking about an old fashioned land line phone as this book was written approx. 1990 and VP was referring to a smartphone. I don't know if anyone else noticed this and got a chuckle from it.

Thank you VP for saving me time reading the book, you are awesome as usual. but if you think a little more about it, this will guide you to the fact that harmonic patterns are not bad, and we all know how much you dislike it, it is just a probabilistic system as your indicators are, and who knows maybe if somebody could combine the both of them where it can take him... I love to hear from you about your opinion on two important subjects, the first is Elliot waves, did you try it? what do you think about? the second one is the zone recovery system, Jouseph Nemeth who invented the system is a guy with very much of your ideas and he became a millionaire because of his method... like to get your opinion in this Thank you again my friend and enjoy your vacation... you deserve it!

So I'm confused. It's been said so many times that the retail FX market only makes up around 10% of that market and how retail traders have zero affect on price movement. If so and it's the 'big banks' etc that are the ones that move the market then why would behaviour patterns or sentiments of retail traders matter?

Thx again for ur vids. So... Last week I traded with the sentiment as I feared I was missing out on good trades and I learned a lesson. My plus 1.5% gains for the month were wiped out in minutes!!! Ghengis Khan and his banking hordes came and raided my peaceful village. Seems Forex is a modern form of horde infestation. From now on I will repent and learn to be a junior viking and follow the longships in my little row boat to raid and pillage the coast of England.
