Traditional Attires of northeast India, northeast india is the easternmost region of India representing both a geographic and political administrative division of the country. It comprises eight states -
Arunachal Pradesh
Assam
Manipur
Meghalaya
Mizoram
Nagaland
Sikkim
Tripura
Northeast India is the homeland of a large number of tribes. There are 145 tribal communities of which 78 are large each with a population of more than 5000. They constitute around 12 per cent of the total tribal population of India and 25.81 per cent of the total population of North East India.

Kuki is a generic term like Naga which means there are many tribes under Kuki nomenclature. And Thadou tribe is one of the Kuki tribes. The traditional pics of both Kuki and Thadou you show in your video are the same.

For Black color they used The black moose Of the fire , and for red they extract from the pill of some plant. White is the cotton white. From there they Make different pattern and Design.

Many diverse Tibeto-Burman languages - Nepali, Lepcha, Sikkimese, Tani, Bodo-Garo-Konyak-Singphaw, Meitei, Naga-Kuki-Chin. Tai-Ahom language of Tai-Kadai family. Munda, Santhal and Khasi of Austroasiatic language family. Small scattered Dravidian populations too. It is fascinating and there is a lot to learn. These people and languages need more support. BTW I am from India 🇮🇳.

I m from sikkim and I am newar which is also called pradhan. And I found one mistake that the dress of pradhan or newar is not that what is shown to confirm I also asked my grandmother and she told sari is of black with red border and red blouse and in the video it is white with red border .
