The Sultanate of Oman - famous for its legendary navigators amongst whom the most well-known was Ahmad Ibn Mâdjid - is where the director, Alexandre Mostras decided to meet the fishermen of the Gulf of Oman. They mostly are Omanis or Indians, and they are fishing on dhows from generation to generation and have carried on this tradition through years.
Extract from the documentary: “Connecting traditions - Oman: Sand and foam”
Direction: Alexandre Mostras
Production: Ma Drogue A Moi for Ushuaïa TV
