Traditional farming in Ireland with Horses

Traditional farming in Ireland in the era before tractors arrived on to the farms. Back in the 1930s all the farm work was still being carried out by the horse as it had been for hundreds of years. This video, filmed at Muckross traditional farms Killarney, shows how the horse was used on the farm to carry out the farmyard tasks such as spreading the manure and ploughing the land.

I feel a terrabel sadness in my soal dince i was sepersted from the land it has always been there a terrabel lounging to go back.no one else in my family has any love for the land except me.it is heartrenshing to be sepersted from youre land when it is in youre blood.blessing blessings.
