Love these short nail videos. Would love to see you do same art work on a short nail. There's lots of ideas out there on long stilettos type nail, so seeing some sorter nail designs, definitely makes a nice change. It's good to targets all kinds of nails, shapes, sizes, designs etc. 💅🏼😊

I think it's awesome you are showing this technique. I think if you are going to be a well rounded, competent nail technician, then you should learn ALL ways of application. I also think you should continue learning throughout your career. It isn't any different from any other career where continuing education is preferable/mandatory. You're never too old to learn new tricks! And your head should never get so big to where you think you know everything. A smart person knows that they know nothing. I was told this when I was young and I really believe in it.

I live in Anchorage Alaska, and the nail techs here use a white tip, glue it onto the nail and skin and do not use fresh nippers, files, e-file bits, monomer, or brushes. I stopped getting my nails done years ago due to funds, but I cannot find anyone that uses fresh tools needed to do nails. I love these videos and cannot wait to see Fey back!

Im currently in training but Im training in gel. Both traditional and reverse french in gel can be a right pain in the arse depending on the gel viscosity. The gel Im currently using has a medium viscosity so it has a tendency to float and its driving my perfectionism bonkers! Ive just ordered another brand (no not from naio nails cos they dont have all LED gels *cries*) and that brand has high viscosity gels meaning they do self level but they dont float (as far as I can tell on the demo videos Ive seen) so hopefully these gels will do the trick so I can deliver decent french with sharp crisp smileline

Reverse definitely definitely the other one seems actually a wider bed that fanned such as in your other video. Unfortunately I don't see the whole nail as I'm doing it so I do have difficulty with that but I can do it just takes me longer than the average bear and Yogi and I going still a whole bunch of picnic baskets and then I come back and I'm still working on it so which sucks that's what happens when you have detail vision and your blind in both eyes doesn't stop me I Endeavor to persevere Chief Dan George Josey Wales

I don't think there are any advantages to this way. This is how I learned and struggle to this day. I like the idea of the reverse because you can perfect your nail bed and lake it even first so your smile line looks perfect.
