I love to see how herbs and herbal medicine are used in other cultures and regions. I have always had a fascination for herbal medicine which stems mostly from my Irish, Welsh and Scottish background. Chamomile is a favorite and I drink it as a tea daily along with some of the other herbs mentioned, like lemon verbena and sage. I've recently learned that sage can also be helpful in treating Alzheimer's disease. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for this very informative lesson on herbs from Crete. I purchase Greek Mountain Oregano directly from Greece and love how it tastes.

I have a question on that pine herb...what exactly is that? I tried searching but keep coming up with pine needle tea which does not look anything like what she's holding. Thanks!

Does dried herbs have same medicinal properties like if I use dried oregano in my foods instead of fresh?
@lseeber012 жыл бұрын
I would presume the Mediterranean wild oregano would but that is a different herb than what we have here in the US.
