Traditional PELOPONNESE | Vathia, Limeni, Areopoli & Gythio | Greece Travel Vlog

In March 2022 we did a 8 days road-trip around the Peloponnese region in Greece. This peninsula may not be so famous like Athens or some of the Greek islands, but it's a really incredible destination too.
We have divided our trip in 4 episodes. In this third video, we will explore the most beautiful towns in Mani Peninsula, one of the areas where Greek essence has been better preserved through the centuries.

Hello to you. First of all, thank you for watching our video. The best comments I receive are always from the locals. I am afraid that I cannot give justice to how beautiful the places are. I try my best though. Secondly, Greeks are amongst the friendliest we’ve ever met! Don’t get me wrong. But at first, you’ll think that Greeks are snob because of their natural stature of looking strong in their personality but once you communicate with them, they will treat you like they’ve known you for a very long time. Based on our experiences anyway. Always lovely to meet the locals.

Greece is dropdead gorgeous all throughout the country. I have traveled 50 times now to Greece, visited many areas on the mainland including the Peloponnese but also various islands. I can say, Greece never cease to A-maze me. Greece is 80% mountains, incredible culture and incredibly deep history, spectacular nature, heavenly food, 16.000 km of the most crystal clear coastlines which combined with these 80% mountains, it's a country that combines both elements like no other county. Then add 6000 islands around the mainland, highest biodiversity in Europe, and you have an immensely diverse country with breathtaking views around every corner
