There is a brass double bend ledger squeegee that will make skylites 1000 times quicker and easier but you will need an adapter for a wood cone. The dbl bend ledger runs like $60 US and the adapter is like $12 to $16.

Thanks 😊 I use the excelerator squeegees because they give me zero detailing on the glass to do. Any other squeegee will leave solution behind to have to clean up with a microfiber cloth. 😊🤜🏻🤛🏻

You can turn the air conditioning on to remove the condensation from the windscreen, along with hot air it removes the condensation very quickly as air conditioners remove the moisture from the air.

In Italy almost all vehicles have got air conditioning, because over here is so hot during summer, it removes condensation fron the windscreen almost istantly, but no one knows that, although I found that information in my car user manual.

Was looking a little advice bro of possible on a couple of occasions my squeegees while in my B.O.B got caught on lip edges on Wheelie bins etc and I have a feeling there is a couple of kinks on them both are liquidators one is a 16" 3.0 and a 14in 2.0 have you any suggestions to straighten these out other than by eye?
@TradMan
@TradMan 2 жыл бұрын
I've never had this issue to be honest. So you reckon the channel is bent? That must of been some force to do that! If it is bent you can try putting it in a vice to straighten it but I would replace it if its bent.
@Carzpress

@@TradMan Yeah bro I was standing up onto a crate to reach a window but I was right beside a bin so when I stood up the two squeegees got caught under the lip of a wheelie bin then when I went to use either it was barely clearing the glass your right though probably best to just replace I could spend forever and never get them back the way they were thanks for replying my friend.

08:40 with glass like this, which is (presumably) textured on one side, how do you go about cleaning? would it deem a squeegee redundant for drying because all the water will hide in the crevices and therefore need to be dried entirely by cloth? thanks in advance!
@grez6330
@grez6330 3 жыл бұрын
You can still do straight pulls,its quicker, I know you and Bob don't give them time of day, baffles me.
@TradMan
@TradMan 3 жыл бұрын
It's the mess it leaves behind at the top which you then have to detail with a cloth if you want perfect results. Some folks don't detail and don't mind some left over solution at the top or sides but for me and polzn blades we aim for 100% clean using the tool and no buffing glass with cloths which can leave smears and fibres behind 😊👍🏻
@TradMan
@TradMan 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah absolutely, I use to do straight pulls years ago (pre Excelerator and Liquidators) so I remember the extra time and hassle having to detail the window and sometimes in the direct sun you could see smears where the cloth had been used to detail the solution left from doing the straight pull. Now that precision tools exist I can get a much cleaner, more professional result done. I will only straight pull on very awkward windows that I can't fan for instance if I can't stand directly in front of it and it's high up, but it's not very common, last resort technique as I know I will then have to bring the pole down, put a cloth on it and put the pole back up again to detail, leaving less than 100% result

Hi Pete and Trad-Girl! Great video as always. Just wondering if you've got your hands on the new Moerman BOAB? (Toolholder 2.0) I've got it in my cart on WCW (with Tradman 10 discount at moment and itchy fingers to buy....) but should really hold fire and pull trigger on black Friday next month (if it's 24% off again!) but just wondering if you could show it up close. Looks good with room for 2 washers or washer and F*liq etc. And hella lot cheaper than Luke Drywalker 😅 Cheers in advance!
