Drumsticks (Moringa pods) are harvested once a year, causing moringa trees to often be laden with them, outnumbering their leaves. One evening after sunset, I went to pluck some drumsticks, and I was captivated by the sight of the tree abundant with drumsticks, momentarily entranced by its beauty.
I quickly gathered some slightly mature drumsticks and returned home. Upon entering, my brother treated me to a refreshing drink he had made. It was so delicious that I asked for the recipe, but he mentioned I should wait until it’s published later.
I made a drumstick curry with extra gravy for lunch the next day. This wholesome and flavorful dish, enriched with coconut milk, is a traditional cuisine from our country. While cooking, I placed two drumsticks over the hot coals, which turned their skin black. I then scooped out the half-cooked flesh and fried it with dry prawns, creating a delicious dish. It’s said that drumsticks can lighten the heaviness of prawns. Actually, moringa is a cooling and healthy food, and the taste of the dish was really enhanced, especially after adding eggs, which my brother really enjoyed.

To get the Recipes and to Read "My Digital Cookbook" Link 👉 www.youtube.com/@MyDigitalCookbook/videos අවුරුද්දෙ හැමකාලෙම මුරුංග හැදෙන්නැති වුනාට මොකද හැදෙන කාලෙට නම් මුරුංග ගස්වල කරල් තියෙනවා මුරුංග කොල වලටත් වැඩිය. හවස්වරුවෙ අව්ව සැර ටිකක් අඩු වුනාම මම ගියා මුරුංග ටිකක් කඩාගෙන එන්න. කරල් බරවුනු මුරුංග ගස් ඇහැට හරිම සනීප දසුනක්. ⁣මම මොහොතකට ඒ දසුන මැද ජීවත්වුනා. මෝරන්න ලං වුන කරල් මිටියක් අතට බර කරගෙන මම ඉක්මනටම ආයෙ එනනින් ආවා. ගෙදරට ගෙඩවෙද්දිම මල්ලිගෙන් රසම රස බීම එකක් හම්බුනා. ඒක ඇත්තටම හරිම රසයි. ඇත්තම කිව්වොත් ඒක බීම එකකට ආගන්තුක රහකින් පිරිල තිබුනෙ. හැදුවෙ කොහොමද කියල ඇහුවම ඔන්න මට පළකරාම වට්ටෝරුව බලාගන්න කිව්වෙ! පහවෙනිද දවල් කෑමට මම හොදි වැඩියෙන් තියෙන්න මුරුංගා වෑංජනයක් හැදුවා. පොල් කිරිවලින් රස වෙන මුරුංගා වෑංජනය අපේ රටේ හැමෝම වගේ ආසකරන සාම්ප්‍රදායික කෑමක්. ඒක හදන අතරතුරේ මම තව මුරුංගා කරල් දෙකක් ගිනි අගුරු අස්සට තල්ලු කලා. පොත්ත කලුවෙනකම් පුච්ච ගත්ත මුරුංග කරල් වලින් ගින්දරින් තැම්බුනු මදේ හූරල අරගෙන වියළි ඉස්සොත් එක්ක තෙල් දාගත්තා. මුරුංගා වලින් ඉස්සන්ගෙ සැර ගතිය අඩු කරගන්න පුලුවන්, මොකද මුරුංගා කියන්න ශරීරය සිසිල් කරන කෑමක්නෙ! ඒ වගේම බිත්තරත් එක්කරපු නිසා අමුතුම රසයක් ඒකෙ තිබුනෙ. ඉතින් මල්ලි නම් ඒකට හරිම ආස වුනා. ආදරෙන් නදී 💜
