He is joined by Blackie O'Connell (Uilleann Pipes) and they follow the song with Collier’s (Reel 5:35), The Woman of the House (Reel 7:09) & The Sligo Maid (8:08).
Seo hiad Daoirí Farrell ag canadh an amhráin 'The Blue Tar Road', sula gcasann sé féin agus an píobaire Blackie O'Connell trí ríl ar Fleadh TV in Inis, Co. an Chláir, sa bhliain 2017.

This is the type of music that makes me want to visit the great land of Ireland, the land of my ancestors. One day I'll make it across the pond.

The pipes (being so powerful) is a difficult instrument by which to accompany a delicate song such s Daoire sings, but not of course in the hands of that genius Blackie. His playing (when required) is so emotive, evocative, and so understated, is the perfect accompaniment for a delicate song . What a rare talent . James Linnane Doolin

Why does this come with an inappropriate warning? there's children in the crowd. Is it the first line maybe offends some...

I have no idea. I've noticed that warning on a few videos lately, and can't figure out why they recently got marked as such.

The Mic that was attached to the Bouzouki fell off, probably from all the jumping around, some craic..! :) Blackie actually gives him the nod to come closer to him so that the zouk could be picked up on the Pipes' mic for the remainder..great set
