Traeger Smoked Salmon Quiche: Honoring my best friend Greg Hausske

This recipe is one that I adapted from the recipe below. It is an amazing recipe and as most cooks do, I made it my own with a little variation of ingredients. This recipe can be done with smoked salmon or just raw fresh salmon. Make it your own and add a comment on how you changed it.
This episode is one of two episodes to which we are honoring my best friend Greg Hausske, who lost his life to the Covid-19 virus on January 22, 2021. He was 49 years old. He was a fabulous teacher, husband, son, brother, dad, friend and mentor. We lost him too early to this virus. He is missed dearly and I miss him so much.
Greg’s wife gifted me his Traeger Ranger in hopes I would use it as he had done. I promised her that we would use this a lot and will be forever honoring Greg and his legacy as a man and a friend.
We plan on using this in many of our outdoor catch and cook episodes and hope to bring you a variety of recipes that you can easily do yourself.

Hey Matt, Terrence Niles here not sure if you remember me. My brother was James Niles & we both knew you two pretty well. I just want to say thank you and hauskee for helping me go to YL camp in the summer of 2015 when ivory had his apepndix tooken out. Since then I had a rough high school experience I moved to Portland & Became a sports star and lost it to a torn hamstring the same year my father passed 2019’ & The things y’all taught me at camp to stay positive, keep Jesus in my life and to keep grinding and too always love has helped me along way. So thank you. I’m so sorry for your loss about hauskee. You two were the duo. Today is 2 years since my dad died so I know how you feel it’s hard losing someone close. Just always remember the positive. Keep pushing and I’m so sorry for your loss. Thanks for helping pay for me to go to YL w hauskee , I’ll never forget how close we got in that cabin that week. Well it has been a year since Greg’s passing. He has inspired me so much and I want to keep his legacy going! #MakeLifeFunner (grammar wasn’t his expertise 😂)
