Tragedy in the Channel as five migrants drown

Witnesses have described how a seven-year-old girl drowned in front of her father after a boat overcrowded with migrants reportedly hit a sandbank.
French authorities said at least a 100 people were on board the dinghy.
The tragedy happened just hours after the Rwanda Bill was passed, which the government says acts as a deterrent to those who seek to come the UK in this way.

The dinghy they were in was made for 20 people and over a 100 crammed themselves in it. (Straight from the Good Morning Britain programme on ITV, who also said the French blame the UK because we are too welcoming). 🙄

The French have a point. Perhaps France, Italy, Greece and UK should coordinate a response. An illegal immigrant entering any of these countries is illegal in all of these countries and will be sent to Rwanda to await asylum determination.
