Both Cap & Tony were *_RIGHT,_* but for the *_WRONG_* reasons. Tony was right to feel that they should accept more responsibility & even answer for some of the deaths they may have inadvertently caused while saving others. The *_WRONG_* reason was when he was “triggered” to go that route by losing Pepper & Charlie Spencer’s mother’s guilt trip. That simply CAN NOT EVER cause you to reevaluate saving the planet - your girl being mad at you or an individual being extremely sad b/c of a single loss (tho the single loss was important to them). Cap was right to feel that they should not surrender to government agencies with agendas. They (the UN) could fake a terrorist attack from a middle Eastern country and now, the Avengers are helping the U.S. steal oil from innocent people for the next century (or something like that). The *_WRONG_* reason was when Cap was #TeamSaveBuckyAtAllCosts Cap was just not going to allow Bucky to face consequences. He put every single other Avenger in sincere jeopardy (including his legitimate “friends” in Tony, Falcon & Widow). It’s fine if Bucky’s your CLOSEST, but he was in position to potentially let some of his friends DIE to save Bucky. . .& when we found out he actually knew of Tony’s parent’s fate - that sealed it. Again: both had quality foundations & cared deeply for others while taking their stance(s). . .& both compromised to a negative extent while making their position(s) known. #Top3MCUmovie #EpicCasting #LOVEtheCHANNEL

Fun fact: Wanda didn't "push" Vision through the floor. She used her powers to change his mass and make him so heavy that the floor collapsed underneath him. Also, I don't know if you recognize General Ross (now Secretary Ross) from "The Incredible Hulk". He was played by William Hurt, who also passed away not too long ago.

A very cool thing about this movie is that the other winter soldiers were all played by the stunt doubles to the other actors. The big white dude that got most of the screen time was Chris Evans’ stunt double, the one woman (Heidi Moneymaker, which is the only name I can remember) was Scarlett Johansson’s stunt double, the black guy was one of the two guys who played both Falcon and Black Panther’s stunt double, and so on and so forth. It was cool because they actually played their own characters for the first time without being someone else’s stunt double. And Sebastian Stan, the guy who played Bucky, threw an after party just for the stunt team when the filming was over. They really all really appreciated that, and even posted pictures from that party on their Instagram pages! Now… About this storyline though… keep in mind that the first mind controlled person we saw in the release order of the MCU was Clint. Loki took control of his mind with the scepter. In age of Ultron, everybody had their minds controlled by Wanda, except for Clint. Clint was the one who stopped her with the electrified arrow to her forehead while saying, “I tried the whole mind control thing, I didn’t like it.“ So the fact that absolutely everybody was instantly forgiven for any and all atrocities they may have committed while under mind control, but Bucky was not, it really makes you think. Especially since they were under my control for hours or days while he was under my control for a minimum of 50 years. As for the Sokovia accords themselves, I truly hate secretary Ross. If you notice during his little pitch meeting of the accords to the team, he’s showing the video evidence of the four different places in which they were fighting. If you notice to the right hand side of the screen that showing the video, it shows the casualty count. In New York there was 74 people who died. In DC there was 23. In Sokovia there was 177. And in Lagos there was 26. Which means the governments of 117 countries in the world wanted to basically enslave the Avengers because of 300 deaths. Keep in mind in New York, the world council that Nick Fury was talking to, unanimously voted to nuke New York!!! That would’ve been about 8 million people that would’ve died not including the fall out area. In DC, those three Hellacarriers, which were “under SHIELD’s control”, but was actually under that same world council’s control for Project Insight which was run by hydra, they were about to wipe out at LEAST 715,000 people and counting in just their first day of launch. And in Sokovia, the whole city was going to be used as an extinction level “meteorite”. So that would’ve wiped out the whole planet. And finally, for Lagos, I’m pretty sure there were more than 26 people in that market place that we’re about to be taken out by Rumlow’s suicide bomb, not to mention the bio weapon that he was there to steal. So the Avengers has already saved the world once over and has saved millions of people a few times. HOWEVER, six of the 13 movies you’ve seen so far have had villains because of Tony Stark/Stark Industries. And this is not the end of the villains that Tony created. It’s always the ones that feel the most guilty who want to restrict others. I am 100% team Cap. And he was protecting Bucky not totally because he’s Steve’s best friend and the only person he has left from the past, but I am absolutely positive he would do the same for anyone else in Bucky’s position. Bucky was an innocent, good man, who was tortured and experimented on for 20 years before they broke his mind enough to wipe it, and control him completely for his 50 year reign as the Winter Soldier. All the while being put back “on ice“ and having his mind wiped again with that horrible device that went on his head between each mission. And to be honest, I am fairly certain that Black Widow knew about Bucky killing Stark’s parents. If you remember, at the end of Captain America: the Winter soldier, when Nat was handing Steve Bucky’s file, she said “You may not want to pull on that thread.” They learned from Zola’s computerized consciousness that Hydra shaped world events and killed people along the way. He showed a picture of Tony’s dad with a line through him to show that they killed Howard Stark. And I THINK the file that Nat handed Steve confirmed many of Bucky’s missions and their outcomes. I think Nat saying that was her warning that it was going to get really personal. So I really think she knew, too. It’s a tossup for me when it comes to which of the MCU movies I think is the best. It’s either the Winter soldier or Civil War. It depends on how I feel at the moment! 😅 But Bucky is still my number one favorite character. He is going to have an amazing character arc both in the movies and tv shows, but much more so in the tv shows, that I hope you guys get to watch, too. BUT if you do watch, the TV shows, I highly recommend getting the X-Men movies under your belts first. If you haven’t already, that is. X-Men before WandaVision tv show, and before the second Doctor Strange movie. 👍🏻😉👍🏻 ❄️🫡🦾🇺🇸#️⃣☝🏻💙💙💙

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Excellent analysis of why Team Cap is the right side. The government’s case makes no sense. And most of those 300 casualties were not killed by the avengers. They were killed by aliens, they were killed by hydra while they were trying to launch weapons to kill millions more, and they were killed by a suicide bomber. Wanda throwing the blast in the air only changed who was killed, not that people were killed. And as you said, more people would have died if the bomb stayed on the ground because the market was more crowded. The only deaths “on” the avengers is those caused by Ultron; and those are really on Tony and Banner, not the avengers as a whole. Excellent analysis of his guilt, btw. I never put it together until your comment, but Tony/Stark has made a lot of villains! He is their origin story. My two points of difference is that (1) I don’t think Steve knew it was Bucky that killed Tony’s parents. I think he knew it was hydra, but hydra had many assassins. He knew it could have been Bucky, but he didn’t know it for sure. I recall one of the Russo brothers expressing that this was their view and how they directed it. (2) I think Steve stopped Tony from killing Bucky not only for the reasons that you mentioned, but also because he want to stop Tony (also his friend) from becoming a cold-blooded murderer.

Yes, Chadwick passed away from colon cancer. At an unusually young age too. Pretty sure he actually had it the whole time while he was in the Marvel movies, and he kept it a secret, which makes it even more amazing how he was able to film, tour, etc while having cancer. Fans started to notice something was wrong though the last time he was seen in public, because he was unusually thin, but most people just assumed he had lost weight for a new movie role. Spidey was excited to just be there, he was having the best time! Both sides were right, at least to an extent. I love how at the end of it, Steve was like "We may not be on good terms at the moment, but I still got your back if you need it." That showed that while there's some issues between them that will likely always be there, they're still friends and they respect each other. Hulk and Thor weren't in this one because Thor isn't human and Hulk is off the grid. Essentially, Zemo's plan worked. He may have been captured, but he won. Avengers came apart from within. Zemo murdered co-director Joe Russo. He was the Doctor in the tub. He was credited as Gozie Agbo. So cool to have Black Panther and Spooder-Man introduced in this movie. The Airport Battle will forever be Iconic. We all knew going on that this movie was going to split them up, that there was going to be tension, but it was such an amazing experience to see how it all played out. This is honestly one of those movies where you can see both sides of an issue. Steve had a point because they’d just dealt with the breach of Hydra and he didn’t trust authority as much as he used to, he’s set on doing what he thinks is right, even if it’s not the right thing overall. Also, this is directly involving his best friend, he kind of ignores the fact that even though Bucky was under the control of Hydra’s brain washing, he DID kill many people, many who didn’t deserve to die. He is human until the conditioning kicks in, then he becomes nothing more than a cocked gun ready to shoot. Steve was way too close, emotionally to this situation to react rationally, but of course it’s easy to understand why he’d push back and fight for him. He knew that if they could figure out how to get free him from the brainwashing they’d see he wasn’t a monster. Steve has always kind of operated on his own Justice code. He is CAPTAIN AMERICA sure, but he’d turn on his country’s government just like that if he didn’t believe in something, which is exactly what happened. You can’t always trust that the government knows what’s best for the country, especially when they are scared of what people like Wanda can do. I like what Steve said “In the end the safest hands are still our own.” There’s not many people in this universe that are known and on the governments radar that are really capable of fighting these enemies and it makes deciding whether they should operate with or without government supervision a really difficult dilemma. I also think that Tony was right to an extent as well. I mean, while it’s true that the damaged caused by trying to keep people safe is unavoidable, they are a team that seems to have sort of evaded the law. Like Ross said, crossing borders illegally, causing property damage and putting people in danger ( even while intentionally trying to protect) without much consequence, it’s going to ruffle some feathers. They seem to be the only ones with that advantage. They also have a right to be nervous about the inability to track down the Hulk and Thor, as both have their own level of unpredictability and danger to people. Especially the Hulk. Last everyone saw him he was rampaging. No one knew he was being corrupted by Wanda, then, he just disappeared and no one knows where he went. Big safety risk right there. Tony also has the guilt thing going on, Sokovia was entirely his fault, being faced with some of those consequences, of course it makes sense. My personal opinion tends to lean more toward Tony, even though he made some mistakes I feel that the concept of basic regulation is not that bad of an idea when it comes to worlds with superhero teams like this. Though I do have to say, it’s impossible to say that I 100 percent agree with Tony or Steve, because either way, you have issues. It’s something I’d have to experience to truly know my stance. It would depend on who I am, what I can do, who I know, and what I’ve been involved with in the past. I think you guys are going to love the mcu Spider-man. Tom Holland is a brilliant actor, I think he was 17 or 18 here. Compared to the other two franchises this adaptation of his really chose to take on a more youthful approach to the character and it has really made the character memorable. As always, I look forward to your next reaction. 😄

Great reaction as always guys. You two are so dialed in, and it is fun to watch with you. This is one of my favorites, but it is complicated. I was all Cap all the way, but it is easy to see both sides. What I find interesting is that Tony started off being the one who rebelled against authority while Steve was a product of an institution. When we get to this movie, their perspectives have reversed. Many have nicknamed this one Avengers 2.5. If there is a theme in this phase, I guess it would be about rising stakes and unforseen consequences. Some have compared it to an arc in the comics called Avengers: Disassembled.

Zemo is the first tragic villain in the MCU, he not tried to conquer the world like Loki or Ultron or whatever. He lost his entire family in Sokovia and the Avenger just leave. Zemo is the representation of the colateral damage that superheroes could make to the world. Thats why TChalla didnt kill him, because at the end even he could understand why Zemo was trying to destroy the Avengers and realize that he was walking the same path of revenge and destruction
@Dhaem16
@Dhaem16 Жыл бұрын
One thing I love is how Zemos's plan actually has nothing to do with the Accords or the conflict they bring. The only thing he needed was that mission report, that video. Using Bucky as a scapegoat? The Accords? The Avengers already at odds with themselves? Cap and Stark arrival at Siberia? All happy accidents, the cherry on top for him. Even if that encounter in Siberia didn't happen Zemo would only need to release that video in some way and the damage would've been done. But yeah, we start Phase 3 with the Avengers broken, half of them fugitives of international justice... Earth defenses as a whole are weaker than ever. And Thanos is coming. PD: Phase 2 is, at least for me, about introducing the infinity stones and showing the Avengers at their prime before the "fall" in this movie.

So don't worry you did not miss any Spider-Man films, Civil War was Peters Parkers and Spider-Mans introduction into the MCU. Sony own the movie rights to Spider-Man but Kevin Feige the President of Marvel Studios has tried for years to get Spider-Man in the MCU. Sony at the time were working on The Amazing Spider-Man films so they were very much doing there own thing. In 2015, Sony Pictures announced a partnership with Marvel Studios where the two studios would work together on a series of Spider-Man films, this being why you'll see the Sony logo and Columbia Pictures intros when watching the MCU Spider-Man films. Kevin Feige even got a team together to make sure this deal went through. There were versions of the Civil War script that did not feature Spider-Man with Antman being Team Iron Man instead of Captain America which would've changed his character and future going forward. But thankfully Spider-Man was added into the MCU and the rest is history. MCU Spider-Man: The MCU Spider-Man has only been active for a couple of months. At 15 Peter was bitten by a spider, within the MCU we aren't sure where but I imagine inside a lab owned by a Corporation doing tests on Spiders. This is all similar to the comics but the biggest difference is how the MCU Spider-Man is thrown into the deep end right away working with the Avengers and even getting his first "real" Spider-Man suit from Tony Stark. Peter designed the suit visually but it's built using Stark Tech so were seeing a very advanced Spider-Man in his first year as Spider-Man something Peter in the comics didn't reach until his late teens and early 20s. By the time of Civil War in the comics Peter was in his early 20s and showed up in a new Iron Spider suit protected by Tony. In the comics Peter basically starts out very low tech creating his web shooters but the suit itself is just Spandex and overtime with help from characters like Mister Fantastic of the F4 and even pulling ideas from his villains Peter upgrades his suit and gear. But at 15 the idea of Peter being this advanced in tech is pretty new and makes him stand out from the other Spider-Man films for better or for worse depending on how you prefer Spider-Man. I personally would've preferred a few solo Spider-Man films first going through High School with a low tech Spider-Man working by himself and then when Peter is in college 18 to 21 he is then introduced to the Avengers and we see him taking part in Civil War. But overall I'm just glad we have Spider-Man interacting with other Marvel hero's something we've never got to see in live action. Tom Holland himself is great as Spider-Man and actually looks like a 15 year old, Toby for example who played Spider-Man in the 2000s very much looked like a college student, same with the other students. Civil War: The Civil War event is pulled from the comics put very much a much smaller scale event focused more so on The Avengers than all Superhero's. The comics of course had far more hero's from Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc. The Superhero Registration Act comes into play where hero's who sign have to give up there secret identity and work on behalf of the government. Iron Man is for this while Captain America is against. In the MCU we have the Sokovia Accords solely aimed at The Avengers.

one of the best MCU films to date.. the complexity, the balance between all the characters, the struggles, the point of views, the plot twists..i think what makes the movie great is that you understand each side, that atleast for a moment, you doubt which side you're on..Tony came from shitting the govt in Iron Man 1&2, and experiencing the consequences of it in Avengers, Iron Man 3 and Age of Ultron, thats why he acted the way he did here..Cap was a boyscout in the 1st Cap movie and the Avengers..all about following orders, but experiencing Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron made him think that he cant really trust a governing body..both flipped because of their ideals and experiences.. Phase 2 deals with the aftermath of Avengers and the introduction of the Infinity Stones.. Fun Fact: one of the directors, Joe Russo, played the dead psychiatrist.. Tom Holland is the 3rd actor to play spiderman..remember, the Spiderman franchise and all related characters is owned by Sony, thats why Toby's and Andrew Garfield's spiderman films are a separate franchises from the mcu..Tobey's spiderman came and end just before the MCU, then Andrew's was Sony's answer to the MCU but didnt went well so Sony made a deal with Disney to share spiderman to the MCU..thats why we have a new spiderman, and he can now join the mcu.. RIP chadwick..

Hey hey Octobers, So glad you guys liked this movie... it's such a good addition to the MCU....so many cool things came out of this. Fun fact: At 36:00 where Tony asks Peter to move his leg, that was completely unscripted - Tom Holland actually forgot he was supposed to move over in the scene, so Robert Downey added that in to remind him.... very clever. I love it when they leave that stuff un. :) And where you're pointing out that Vision might be becoming more human, especially with Wanda, I think what's happening is, because Vision and Wanda are both linked through the Mind Stone (Wanda got her powers from the Mind Stone), that this is part of what links them together and it gives them extra connection with each other, so it helps Vision understand people better, through that connection. (This is my theory based on these movies PLUS future movies you guys will see later like Infinity War) Mrs October, I am absolutely loving your powers of perception here and the way you call out various plot points long before they happen. Like you said that Zemo is most likely framing Bucky for that explosion which kicked this off... that was spot on! Nice one! :) Also, I'm sitting on the fence and not picking one side 100%..... It was just good to see them fight each other and see them hash out this conflict. Zemo does come back again in The Falcon and Winter Soldier TV series on DisneyPlus.... really hope you're watching that series too! :) Anyway, hope you guys are good. Can't wait for next one :)

Great reaction. For me, this movie was the point where the MCU just took off like crazy. Every movie after this just kept getting better and better. In this one, you see how both Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers change. In the past, Tony was brash and took all kinds of crazy chances. Steve on the other hand, was a consummate soldier, always following orders. In this movie we see how they have both gone to the other end of the spectrum. In fact with Tony, you see it at the beginning of the movie - he's talking to some college students and he's reading off a teleprompter. He would have never done that before. Steve, in contrast, now becomes a "criminal." Great movie. Definitely one of favorite MCU movies.

@@Shap0o.PlayZz A character named Johann Fennhoff/Dr Faustus, a character named after the literary character Dr Faustus and the German folklore Faust (the classic deal with the devil story). Anyway, Faustus is a genius intellect and psychologist adept at manipulating others and through deceptions (some like Zemo disguising himself as Barnes) gets people to do as he wishes. He had a storyline where he attempts to drive Cap mad by making him hallucinate in waking life and have nightmares at night. He also treated peggy and sharon at points because he infiltrated SHIELD as a psychologist. He was able to convince Sharon Carter to attempt to end her own life via his persuasive capabilities (he tries this on several that he's brainwashed) and brainwashed Captain America to do his bidding. In fact, Faustus is most infamous for brainwashing Sharon Carter into "killing" Steve Rogers in the climax of the CIVIL WAR COMIC. He later plays a major part in the trial of Bucky Barnes where he helps Cap, Falcon and Widow's defense strategy by demonstrating his abilities in the court to help exonerate Bucky for his crimes as the Winter Soldier because he was brainwashed. He is basically most well-known in the comics for the movie version Baron Zemo. Helmut Zemo in the movie is Johann Fennhoff. The reasons Zemo is used are the fact that Faustus was used in the Agent Carter tv show and Zemo is a bigger name...not the first time they did this however. Alexander pierce from the Winter Soldier is essentially a different character as well.

I just want to point out that Ross's little presentation on why the Avengers are dangerous is absurd. The Avengers stopped an alien invasion, while the US government's plan was to... nuke New York City. That might not have even worked! The helicarriers were a SHIELD/Hydra issue, not an Avengers issue. If Cap hadn't intervened, a ton of people in the area were about to be assassinated all at once. While Ultron was, in fact an Avengers creation, it was a private project that wasn't meant to leave the building and was entirely incomplete. The Avengers stopped Ultron from wiping out humanity _and_ saved most of the people in the city. The only problematic one was Wanda accidentally causing more deaths than she stopped by hitting a building with the explosion. That one, I could see being a mission that the Avengers should've had permission for.

Ross showed a lot of footage, but he overlooked Thor’s fight with Malekith in London, Hulk vs Hulkbuster in Johannesburg, and the Avengers vs Ultron and his sentries in Seoul. Steve and Tony swapped ideologies. After what happened with S.H.I.E.L.D. in the present, he knows better than to trust the powers in charge. As for Tony, he always did what he wanted and refused to listen when people tried to dissuade from going overboard. He’s late but he’s finally starting to take accountability and wants to able to continue as Iron Man. Vision delivered a good argument without being hypocritical. He literally knows his own strength. To ordinary people, he’s basically god-level like Thor. For Sam and Rhodey, they didn’t have much of a choice. Even if they did, they were still gonna side with their respective best friends - and not just because of their friendships with them. Rhodey, for instance, is still an active member of the American military whereas Sam has seen the things that Steve saw during the HYDRA uprising. The language T’Chaka spoke is Xhosa. It’s widely spoken in South Africa which is where his actor John Kani is from. Zemo’s actor Daniel Brühl grew up speaking German through his father. He also learned Spanish and Catalan from his mother. Daniel reprised his role as Zemo for the German dub. Sebastian Stan is good at speaking Romanian because he grew up in Constanța, and unless I’m mistaken he did his own motorbike stunt. The elite death squad included some of the actors’ stunt doubles at the time. In a deleted scene when Clint and Nat were fighting: Nat: Don’t you think Laura would be disappointed? Clint: Who, in me or you? In another deleted scene, Nat watches the fight in horror after recovering from Wanda’s attack. While evading War Machine, Cap loses his shield. Bucky grabs it and throws it to War Machine. It bounces off of him and Falcon throws it back to Cap. Cap: Nice save. Bucky: I gotta get me one of those. What’s most interesting about Zemo is that he messed with the Avengers without laying a finger with them. CinemaWins goes into further detail as to how and why his plan worked. In the Latin Spanish dub, when Tony grabs Bucky in the silo, the dialogue gets changed a bit but holds the same meaning: Tony: Do you at least remember my parents? Bucky: I carry them in my mind, too! I also think that Nat and Sam knew about it as well. Nat was with Steve when Zola showed them the article. She also dug up some info on Bucky which might have included some info about that night. And of course, Sam would help Steve look for him. “Tony Stank” is still my favorite Stan Lee cameo in terms of comedy. Also, you know it’s a cool scene when you put three legends in the same room.

In the comics Redwing is an actual bird rather than an A.I. controlled drone. 😅 Wanda utilizes chaos magic. When John Byrne was writing the West Coast Avengers he tweaked her powers from being random curses to probability alteration. In other words she could change even the most improbable of events to becoming a certainty. Such as causing a landslide to bury someone in rubble. Chaos magic by its nature is unpredictable. But like all power it has its cost. In the MCU Wanda can get inside someone's head telepathically and bring their greatest fears to life or she can move objects with her mind similar to telekinesis. This is due to the experiments with the Mind Stone, now in Vision's head. 😅 Team Cap for sure. In this case Tony is wrong... surrendering your freedoms to the government always ends badly. That is how Republics become dictatorships. 😢 In the comics Ant-Man also had an alternate identity of Giant Man due to the use of the Pym particles to shrink and grow. But going big uses up a lot of endurance plus difficulty breathing due to the change in size. 😅 I think the orange slices was a soccer joke. After a tough half or match the soccer moms would provide orange slices to rejuvenate the kids. Lol 🤣

0:40 "1991 a year before I was born" you say... But in your previous video 35 seconds in you said 1989 was the year you were born... 3:55-4:00 Best description for Wanda (and her late twin brother, gone too soon Pietro) "He's fast and she's weird." 6:30 Sadly, the explosive force was unstable enough that with her limited experience handling such, Wanda lost containment of the explosion too soon, because she "moved the explosion out of the way" not realizing when she let go of it, she just took out a few floor corners of a building. Casualties would likely have been much higher had she not moved it, but you can see it on her face when she realizes what she just did. Amped up she's reacting to it 6:42-4:43, conveying the "What did _I_ just _do_ to all those people?" 27:48-27:52 "Technically, it's the Government's property" She's not wrong. Because a soldier is issued a weapon for use in the line of duty, it doesn't transfer ownership of it. And it was assigned to Cap when he was in the Army. 31:05-31:10 You're "spamming" words, but if he heard them at all, Steve heard them one time. And I don't think he's fluent enough in Russian to recreate those words under pressure, assuming he heard all of them. Not to mention, we don't know if once "activated" those words would have the desired effect, or if there is a condition that must be met, or a different set of words to stand him down. 33:45-33:50 It wasn't the 101st getting injected with what mad Bucky The Winter Soldier. He was recovered after the fall from the train over the ravine. But that particular revelation is next up. 39:45-29:50 While the paint on the shield is obviously durable, the shield was originally made of vibranium in a metallic silver. I would wager the coat on it isn't "selectively colored vibranium. But yes, The Black Panther's claws are almost 100% guaranteed to be vibranium too, and he's already demonstrated he can hold his own with Captain America one on one, unarmed, and against The Winter Soldier without even his suit. I love that they kept the very engaging "conversational" aspect of Spider Man from the comics. He was always one with one liners and smart comments and even asking questions and trying to have a conversation in certain iterations in the comics. 54:50-54:52 2 points I would make. 1. Bucky had no control over complying with his orders. 2. They are _not_ both metal. Bucky has a metal arm, Tony has an entire suit of armor. Nucky's head could come off with one thruster powered punch from Tony. Where ever Bucky hits Tony, he has to breach the armor to dismember him. 55:20-55:30 "That was kind of corrupt to say, however." I would disagree. Bucky is admitting that he _presently_ remembers all of them, it wasn't long ago he was telling Steve he's not sure if he's worth all this. Because Bucky remembers what he did, or rather was forced to do. They didn't do him the kindness of erasing all the horrible things the made him do.

You'll love Dr. Strange. The movie pays tribute to the origin story of the 1960s, as has been the case with Iron Man and others. Back in the 60s, Iron Man and Captain America shared a comic before getting their own magazines, and that's when Black Widow and Hawkeye were introduced ... as Iron Man villains, before they became heroes. Both Cap and Tony were working in coordination with Nick Fury at SHIELD at that time. And Fury had his own comic, which he shared with Dr. Strange. Dr. Strange went on to have his own series, and to star in another series called The Defenders, which in the beginning had the Hulk on the team. Anyway, the Dr. Strange movie is well done. These MCU movies simply could not have been made before CGI.

One thing I liked most about this movie are the tiny details, usually missed first time or even 5th time through that tie it to future movies and shows. Keep in mind the crippling of Rhodie for way down the line and the call Tony got while reading Caps letter.

Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, "I am Groot."

It's great they don't have to operate in the real world, with all the corruption, slavery, weapons dealing, etc. I doubt there would be time for any 'accords'. More like take a number, we'll get to your problem soon.
