Taken from my 2019 road trip out west from Minnesota. My first and only stop in Idaho sent me flying down a trail at speeds never before achieved and wound up actually being the most fun trail of the entire journey. If the imagery in this baffles you it’s a reference to the show Twin Peaks. I figured since the song title is a reference to Agent Dale Cooper I would run with the theme. Didn’t mean to throw a fish in your percolator.

Nice little subliminal stabs, Twin peaks! Man, I really need to get out more. This is some extended down time, glad you opened up the shock, and documented it, good reminder for others. Way to help the community with this one easily forgotten bit. Killing it!

Yeah that climb was a small price to pay for the pure, fast fun that took place afterwards.

Before this trip when someone said Idaho I thought potatoes. I was one of those jackasses. The northern panhandle was indeed a sight to behold, even driving through whatever twisty, steep highway I was on had to be rated blue at least. I actually stopped in the town Silver Mountain was at to grab food but didn’t end up riding there. That was a mistake. This trail blew my mind though at the time, there is footage of more capable riders going mach speed down 257. Now I know better. When people mention Idaho I think potatoes, great Singletrack, and fringe militia types. Glad you enjoyed it man. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your Wyoming footage.

SammySingletrack haha fringe militia...the Idaho statesmen. Good stuff! Yeah man every part of Idaho seems to have killer riding, Boise has some stupid awesome long descents that drop you off almost in downtown, it’s so rad! I’ll have another video up on Sunday! I’ll keep checking yours out as well!

@@Tkolbo_ Looking forward to Sunday. Boise sounds like a strategic spot then, great riding, still have the benefits of city life and other awesome locations that aren’t too far away in terms of road trips. I think you should go for it. Try to check out some of Northern Minnesota though before you leave man. So far you’ve really only hit Leb and Battle, right? Great metro trails but you gotta hit Duluth(multi day for sure), Tioga, Grand Rapids, some stuff like that. As far as watching my vids my uploading frenzy is pretty much over. Had a lot of old footage I just wanted to put out there that I can look back on. I don’t think you’ll enjoy my México vids (much more narration, camera problems, and the final vid will be a mellow tour through a city) but maybe check out my Helena vids and the Copper Harbor mix if you haven’t. I still have some Washington footage to get to though, just wish I was a more capable of a rider last year. Places like Beacon Hills were WAY above my level at the time.

Northern Idaho is beautiful. A lot of people in the US only think of one thing when they hear Idaho: Potatoes 🥔. It’s much more than that 😂
