Do you ever have any issues with navigation and the magnets in your bino harness?

Cool video! Great to see recommendations for gear that has been throughly tested. What’s your recommendation for keeping your bow stored on your pack while hiking? Say you’re not hunting just yet but hiking into your area. Just use the straps or is there a better system or sling that can protect the cams/bow?

Hi there, good question...I'm not aware of a better system than just strapping it to the face of bag. If you are carrying it that way I would suggest a sling that covers the strings and cams to protect them from wear and tear. Personally I always carry my bow by the handle in my left hand. I just like knowing I have control that way should I slip and fall. I'd hate to fall with the bow strapped to my pack and end up dinging a cam. That's just my take though but a lot of folks successfully strap it to the pack.

Looks like you listed the Dialed sight but actually have the Ultraview SLider on the bow.

Do you ever find your hands getting cold with just the traverse gloves? I do. I need to find a setup to keep my hands from going numb. But where I can still shoot my bow. Any suggestions?

Quite a few items in the graphics are completely different than what’s actually in the video. Great video nonetheless, good luck out there Trail!

How do yall store your food in your pack? I have my days separated into gallon bags, then I put them in a dry bag. Looking to find an easier way to keep them

Hi there, I also organize food by day, each in a gallon zip lock bag. I don't put my food bags in a seperate dry bag typically, I just put each one in my pack. If I am hunting an area thick with bears where I feel like I need to hang it, I run it all up a tree in a game bag. Mostly I'm just trying to cut weight and use items for more than one use. Hope that helps, all the best to you this fall!

What does your pack weigh on an average with food and all for say about a 3 day bivy? Also good luck this season shoot straight man!😎🤙

Hi there, average weight for a 3 day bivy hunt I would suggest is about 40 lbs. For six or seven days, I'm typically around the 50lb mark. Hope that helps, all the best!

What is your arrow weight?
@trailkreitzer9163
@trailkreitzer9163 10 ай бұрын
Hi there, total arrow weight is about 468 grains finished. I've been using the Victory VAP TKO in a 300 spine, 29.25" carbon to carbon, an 55 grain Easton half out titanium insert, 100 grain SEVR 1.5" broadhead, 4 Bohning heat vanes, Gold Tip.166 nock collar, and Gold Tip .166 nocks. Hope that helps, all the best!

Is there a reason that everyone uses a different headlamp for their backup instead of just buying 2 of the same?

Hi there, mostly it's just to save weight. My primary headlamp is the Peax Backcountry duo, which is really bright, has a great red light option, and great battery life. I pack the smaller one in my possibles pouch just as a backup. It's much smaller and a lot lighter in weight.
