W.E. Rock Grand Nationals gave us the opportunity to meet quite a few people; one of which happened to be Rory Irish. Rory is the owner of Moab Motorsports and has one of the coolest wreckers we have ever seen, known as "Trail Mater".

Rory is an awesome guy.. he help me out last month during my trip to moab. I busted a rod end and he was able to get me fixed up and back on the trails to finish the week long vacation.

Trail Mater is the best off-road wrecker I’ve ever seen in the way Rory climbs rocks and pulling vehicles is awesome !!

As you can see, Rory is utterly fearless, and many, many people are grateful for his awesome skills when he comes out to rescue them. Trail Mater looks like a Frankenstein's monster, but it does stuff specialised rock-crawlers can't, plus it's useful.

Practically every heavy wrecker required rescue I have seen has been done by rory and trail mater and Rory just mixes so well in to all events and recoveries he is a non invasive superstar with everyone, everywhere! And just to embellish him, he is a loving dad who brings his little girl to a lot of goings on from rrscue/recovery to events where he is always well recieved!👍🏼

Seeing Trail Mater progressing into what it is become today is amazing to see. The truck is sort of taken on a life of it's own with every new feature, work done on it. I'm reminded seeing the Little Red Wagon In action once back east..... Showing my age here....... Seeing Trail Mater climb those rock cliffs in all it's gear, Reminds me of an old timer stepping up to say, move over boys, let me show you how it's done, busting every-ones chubs, getting er done, "-) old school.

He only took the duals off for the competition so he could fit through the gates better. The gate cones are set a certain distance apart and the duals would have limited him to a few inches of space.

What setup do you have for drivetrain ? I see a manual so im guessing a SM465 but do you have a 203/205 doubler or an Atlas T-case....iv been trying to find a 203 range box that will mate up to the 465 but dang they are hard to find here in western idaho

Hi so I was watching your shows did you ever think about just putting a ramp so they put the dirt bikes up behind your winch you know that would be so much easier man you need to carry with you it's a plank or a ramp instead of that freaking trailer all right man have a good one God bless you yeah you could put it up behind your boom it would be perfect man they could eliminate the trailer when you go on a dirt bike recovery all right have a good one man later
