I have one. It has plenty of power for the kind of riding he was doing in my opinion. There are times riding steep gravel roads that I sorta wish it had a bit more power just because it would be fun to accelerate a little harder out of some of the steep turns and stuff but overall it’s a great bike. I have no regrets that I bought. At the time I kinda wanted the 300 but I have no regrets buying the 230 instead.

Depends on the type of ride, it’s perfect for single track and tight stuff compared to the open road though you are gonna be left

Go a beta 200 for the bogs and a beta350 for tracks
