I have a 2003 Envoy. I replaced the steering pump & all those miserable rust-prone lines. Now my rack is leaking. Your video has given me more confidence to attempt this job. Especially considering you did it without a lift.

I guess I've been lucky with my 2003 Trailblazer EXT. After 20 years, for the first time, have 2 leaks one on the steering pressure line by the harmonic balancer and one on the Rack transfer tube. Thanks for the video. seems easy to replace just time consuming.

Great work. Just want to give you the correct terminology and you'll sound like a pro. What you're calling an end link is an outer tie rod. It threads onto the inner tie rod. "End link" is a shortened version of stabilizer bar end link. Which I'm sure you've seen. It connects the stabilizer or "sway" bar to the control arm.

Before to attached steering column to rack did you have to find straight wheel alignment first to assure full turn left and right?

So I got the new rack in my truck but my steering wheel is free spinning. I'm 100% positive that I put everything back together properly. So what could the cause be and the best way to fix it. Only thing I can think of is I pulled the bar coming from the steering wheel to the rack down to get it to go into the rack easily. Is it possible that I pulled it out of a connection to the steering wheel 🤔?

Okay guys- when he shows where the lines connect to the rack where those black seals are-- if you look at the left one (the side where he said his fell out) there is this round silver piece inside of there - it came out on mine when I removed the seal to replace it- what is that thing? Can I just put it back in place? Is it replaceable is it some kind of pressure valve?
