This is the best game in the PS2, and I'll dare say is the most amazing gaming experience in any console, ever. I cannot stress this enough. I sold my PS2 to buy an Xbox 360, but I plan on getting a PS2 again so I can play SotC one more time. This game is worth it.

Out of all the colossus quadrates is probably the saddest colossus to kill for me that face just looks peaceful I really don’t like killing him Gauis and avion are my favs but quadrates is the most peaceful looking and I hate killing him it makes me feel bad great game tho I grew up with the demo on ps2 and later bought the ps3 remaster and beat it on there for first time and the ps4 remake I beat as well I have a ps2 fat still I wanna get the original shadow of the colossus I like the case with valus in the cover plus it’s nice to experience the ps2 version I still have the demo jampack that has shadow of the colossus in it I remember seeing the trailer when you beat valus thinking gauis is probably the final boss and I was wrong lmao he was the third

People think the game sucks because all you have to do is stab a collosi in the head... This is one hell of a game! the whole adventure thing is awesome, the beautiful world, the relaxing wind and birds, and the awesome music in the boss fights! After the 2nd collosi you need to think in order to get to their head! It took me a while to get in te 3rd collosi head.. Nice game, gorgeus music, Masterpiece.

I love this game such dam much! Also, I swear that most of the Team Andromeda from Sega (Panzer Dragoon Series) must have gone to work for this studio after Sega shut them down. The art styles, music, symbols, some creature designs, and even the fake language (Panzer Dragoon Saga) are so similar it's uncanny. One of the best games ever made, and the only game in my mind that any Nintendo diehard fan should be very jealous of. Literally perfect....

Como assim o jogo não tem nada a ver com a bíblia? Esse jogo foi praticamente todo inspirado na bíblia até a construção da torre de Babel por Ninrode! A primeira semelhança é algo até um tanto óbvio, que seria David e Golias, mas isso não significa nada, comparado com o que você deve saber. Em Shadow of the Colossus temos o último Colossus que é idêntico a uma torre, que por sua vez é muito parecido com a torre de Babel construida por Ninrode! No jogo, temos um demônio chamado Dormin, e esse demônio que possui chifres, que é poderoso e que é feito de sombras foi morto e seu corpo dividido em vários pedaços, aproximadamente 16. Se você colocar Dormin de trás para frente se torna Nimrod que, segundo a Bíblia foi o primeiro a nascer poderoso, e no hebraico significa "rebelde" ou "rebelar-se", porém as coincidências não param por aí. A lenda diz que Nimrod foi um poderoso ser que habitou o planeta. Rebelado e sempre procurando vingança contra Deus, ele tinha soberania em vastos lugares e seu reino se estendia por várias cidades. No game existem 16 locais com edificações diferentes, um para cada colosso. Então pode ser que os colossus tenham referencia nessas cidades ou nos pedaços divididos do cadaver de Ninrode, não dá pra saber ao certo à que referencia os 16 colossus foram criados no game. Nimrod tinha uma marca característica de sua aparência que eram dois chifres, os quais ele arrancou com as próprias mãos de um touro. Dormin possui 2 chifres também! Nimrod foi derrotado pelo povo, e teve seu corpo separado em vários pedaços, que foram espalhados pelo próprio reino. Ninguém sabe ao certo quantos pedaços foram. Sua mulher esperava um filho que se chamaria Ninus posteriormente, e meses após a morte de Nimrod governou suas terras a partir de seu castelo, e isso nós podemos ver em ICO, o primeiro jogo da série, que possui uma rainha que vem do mesmo lugar que Dormin. Uma outra coisa curiosa é que Nimrod foi quem criou a Torre de Babel em uma tentativa frustrada de chegar até Deus para firmar sua rebeldia e tentar matá-lo, pretendia reunir a humanidade em um só lugar, em desobediência à ordem divina de “crescer, multiplicar e ser fecundos", porém Deus fez com que todos os operários que trabalhavam na torre falassem línguas diferentes umas das outras, e assim seria impossível que a torre fosse construída. No jogo o ponto central fica no templo, ou castelo, onde está a Mono deitada, que seria uma referencia a semíramis, a mãe de Ninrode, que por sua vez, acreditem, se tornou esposa dele segundo relatos bíblicos (Por isso o desejo de Dormim em ressuscitar ela depois do último Colossus! No alto do castelo existe um jardim secreto que possui árvores frutíferas, e os frutos delas tiram parte da sua vida permanentemente. Seria alguma semelhança com o Jardim do Éden e a fruta do pecado? Aqui temos um ponto crucial no fim da história e da bíblia: Depois de morto, sua mãe-esposa Semíramis juntou todas as partes de seu corpo, menos o seu órgão reprodutor, que não pode ser encontrado, (seria o décimo sétimo Colossus que todos procuram até hoje?) então Semíramis disse ao povo da Babilônia que Ninrode não estava morto, mas havia voltado ao seu lugar de origem (Por isso no fim do jogo ele volta a ser bebê, um bebê com chifres e é entregue a Mono, ou seja Semíramis). E, para finalizar, tudo isso sendo coincidência ou não, a Bíblia ainda diz que, após a morte de Nimrod e o crescimento de seu filho, a torre até então com a construção parada se torna o centro de uma cidade, que viria a ser a Babilônia, mas isso teria que ser demonstrado em um segundo jogo da franquia, o que nunca aconteceu! Para ficar mais esclarecido, Nimrod é como se pronuncia o nome em inglês, já em português seria Ninrode, mas existem várias formas de pronúncia, e por se tratar de um nome em hebraico não existe uma adaptação tão correta para todas as línguas. E vocês podem conferir isso tudo em Gênesis, capítulo 10.
