Love your content man, I’d love to see a updated tour of your scale shop! The attention to detail is so insane in your videos.

Bro, I feel the same way that you do about TF2 and the scale look you’re not alone out there with metal leaf springs. Love your channel bro

Baaaadddaaaasss build Josh! I think I remember seeing the video of when you broke the axle shaft but I need to go through and make sure. Awesome video as always!

I snapped 2 axles on mine when I first ran it, went cvd's and limited the steering. I takes an acre to turn but I'm living with it.

As the owner of a Leaf Sprung Gelande II LWB base, GIIs on leaves are fun, there is the potental for way too much articulation or even a spring under axle set up to get it low down.

When I stripped the screws on my yota 2 axle I went on amazon and purchased a helicoil set and fix it the axle
@smallkineoff-road54182 жыл бұрын
what size?
@joelhull092 жыл бұрын
Those yota 1 xvds WILL fit the yota 2 axles. I got one here with them in it, you don't get quite as much steering angle as the yota 2 xvds but its better then standard.

You need a Land Rover back in your life.😉 Rust on the chassis, bulkhead and bullbar, mud, grime, moss on the body. And some green moss with black lichen on the roof like I spent an hour in the rain scrubbing off my bloody Land Rover.

I changed it to K 44 axle, they are way beefed. And it’s no problem for me that my Toyota it’s a Chevy updated 😊
@jonathanfletcher972 жыл бұрын
How do you like the performance of the K44? Also is it a left or right side oriented pumpkin? Thanks man!
@jarek.o26632 жыл бұрын
@@jonathanfletcher97 I like them a lot. In K44 pumpkin is oriented the same as the yota axle, the shafts are XVD style. I installed helicon gears and shimmed them. So for three years, I don’t have any problem different than broken leaf springs or bolts from the Panhard mont.

ive broke 2 sets 1 a few months after i got the rig in Alabama axial fest and the 2nd at BTK, KY rc4wd worked with me each time they think it was my end settings also. all i know is it hasnt happened sense ive set my limits. BUT im also very careful now and the tf2 is only a trail truck now not for crawling.

Boom racing axles !

Once you get your EPA (Endpoints) turned down on your steering just a touch, you shouldn't have any more issues. Now, if you go brushless, you'll break them again. lol Also, pretty sure we have housings and the TEQ axles in stock at Remote Control Hobbies - Orlando, but I'm not there to look and say 100% right now. lol

Really curious how you got that color red for the body. Layered of different colors?
@RCeveryday Жыл бұрын
It was just gloss red rustoleum paint with some weathering powders and ak product rust streaks on it. Painted this one over a decade ago.

Got a question Been out the game for a good while. Looking at a SCX24 crawler and using model car bodies. Anyone else done that or what other 1/24 scale crawler or drift car y’all are using
@RCeveryday2 жыл бұрын
A lot of bodies will work with them. I dont do much with the smaller scale stuff but it is a huge part of the hobby now.

Check out my channel. I used a model toyota on an scx24. It was a lot of work but probably one of the most scale looking 24ths. had to fab mounts with magnets.
