R&L Carriers delivered my Mini Bike as well. Actually they didn't deliver it to my house the driver called me and had me meet him in some parkinglot that was like a 20 minute drive from my house. But I really didn't mind cause I was just excited that I was about to recieve my new toy. So I back my Ram1500 up to the back of his tractor trailer bumper and I'm about to lend him a hand unloading the crate from his trailer into my truck bed but before I could even get to him the freaking guy just pushed the crate with his foot off the back of his trailer and it smashed onto the bed of my truck. It was like a 4 foot drop. I was like WTF ??? After it landed he asks me what's in the crate anyway ? All I was thinking to myself is I can't believe he just did that right in front of me. How dumb can you be ? Luckily when I got home with it and took it out of the crate everything was good to go. No broken pieces. But still the unprofessionalism of the driver was enough to make my blood boil and I consider myself a really mellow chill guy. It takes a lot generally to piss me off. Yet this driver just basically pushed my new bike off his truck as if he could careless if anything broke inside it. After that I still ended up tipping him a $20 dollar bill. Then he had a whole change of attitude and told me how I just saved his ass lol. I shoulda flipped him the bird instead of giving him money but oh well.

That doesn't surprise me! The girl on the phone was acting like I was insane for asking about why I didn't get a phone call. Not nasty or anything, but acted like what they did was completely normal. Everything worked out, but just by luck. My bike was by a busy road just sitting there in view for 6 hours. They did at least come down my driveway a few feet but still, they're a bunch of jerks. Like how hard is it to attempt 1 phone call and leave a message? It takes 2 minutes. LOL
@JNC19732 жыл бұрын
@@bwxmoto That is crazy though. Had somebody pulled over and snatched it up before you found it then you really could have raised hell over it. I guess R&L doesn't hire the brightest people but I think the management overall runs the company poorly too.

Do you have any suggestions? I bought one, and have a super high idle. I have the 22tm. I tried turning down the idle screw I get nothing same if I turn the idle screw up for a higher idle. It revs so high the exhaust starts to turn cherry red within minutes. It’s very jumpy and will stay running by itself, unless you hit the kill switch. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pretty nice. Should stay together as long as you don't thrash it too hard. I think I seen a video or something where they were saying the bike was ridable but when they swapped the carb it made a difference. Probably a different bike though. You'll know after you ride it.
@bwxmoto2 жыл бұрын
I've heard that too. Yeah I'm pleasantly surprised with it for sure after riding it around the driveway and yard for about an hour yesterday. Was 64F in NY middle of Dec.! Got antsy and just hopped on and started riding. I left shipping oil in there for break in (might be a mistake?). It started right up. Just took it easy and did one long very easy heat cycle varying the RPM. Only thing that's obviously not high quality when riding is the clutch lever and clutch cable. But I didn't lube it yet. Might feel a lot better after lubing entire cable and clutch lever pivot. It's smooth and torquey and pretty quiet. I'm sure a carb would help a lot as far as peak power but it's great just like it is so far. It's a fun bike! Surprisingly nice. Amazing it costs about the same as a BT200X/ MB200-2.

the seat is a killer. I'm looking for a good cushioned seat cover for mine.
@bwxmoto3 ай бұрын
Yeah I think the bike is made to be ridden in the standing position. There's one spot on the seat that has a little extra foam padding but it's not much.
@Zane.Wellnitz3 ай бұрын
@@bwxmoto true, I'm getting a new seat cover and adding some foam. Also my top engine mounts frame side broke so I am welding it back and adding gussets everywhere. My foot pegs are bending as well so I am going to get some moose pegs. Also the rear fender is not long enough to stop slinging mud up my back so I am going to figure out a way to extend it. Other than that it is worth the money. Lol
@bwxmoto3 ай бұрын
LOL Yeah I don't ride it hard enough to find it's weak points, I'm sure there are many! I still like to have it in the garage to fool around with, and let other people ride. For the money, it's pretty good. I bought it out of curiosity more than anything else, it was my first any only pit bike unless you count the KLX 140RF as giant pit bike, it kinda is, kinda not. The difference in quality is massive though, but the KLX cost 3 times as much.
@Zane.Wellnitz3 ай бұрын
@@bwxmoto it is definitely worth the money.. The broken motor mount is the only major issue. I have still been riding it 60mph with it still broken. If you pull off that air filter, plug the boost port to the case with a small piece of fuel line, plug it with a bolt and put a pod filter on it it hits 60mph🤙🏻 oh, and cut the screen out of the back of the exhaust. Huge difference, it will power wheelie with no issues now
@bwxmoto3 ай бұрын
@@Zane.Wellnitz Interesting! I actually went up a tooth on the front sprocket because I thought it would make 1st and 2nd gear more usable in the woods up hills and I figured 3rd gear would be useless anyways. But I might go down a tooth on front sprocket (already have the sprocket), and install the carb I got for it, then maybe 3rd gear would work better in the woods. Mine went about 50 mph stock down a hill but also 48 on flat ground. But I'm more concerned with usable gears in the woods than top speed on this bike for where I usually ride it. If top speed was 45 I'd be ok with it as long as it was better in the woods. Once in a while it gets super dry around here, I might just leave the spark arrestor in even though I know it would have more power with it gone. Maybe with a new carb and filter I can get a little extra power out of it. It's cold blooded but when warmed up runs pretty good fully stock actually. Better than I thought it would anyways.

Could you do a full review, I’m looking at getting the trail master 300cc bike but I don’t know if it will hold together on the track
@bwxmoto2 жыл бұрын
Yeah definitely. Going to change the carb and everything (I have 2 to try) but I want to put on some more miles with stock carb to at least know how much the upgrade did. But I put it together in winter and it's still winter here. Gonna get up to a foot of snow next couple days. I want to do some speed tests and test it on hills and trails before I start upgrading. But I'll do some review/ ride vids. I'm not a track rider though. I just cruise at 80% pace at the most in the woods and trails and fields and I won't be jumping huge MX type jumps. Also I don't think the 300 is anything like this bike. But it is the same company selling them. For a Chinese pit bike this seems to be pretty high quality, but it'll never have Japanese reliability or ruggedness. People do thrash them and race them though (Chinese pit bikes), but they break more often than Japanese bikes. It'll be interesting to see how it performs. So far so good on the few miles I have ridden it. I only went on trails once but I can already tell it's way better than even an MB200-2 in the woods especially up steep hills.

@bwxmoto2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, glad someone getting some use out of the vid! LOL Yeah I noticed no adjustment screw. Mine seems to run really good after it's warmed up. Are you sure your choke is set to correct position? If I recall correctly choke off is all the way down. To start I just stick it in middle position. I have heard many people say these won't run very well with stock carbs. I was planning on buying a carb and installing it right away but I think I got lucky and mine runs ok. I'm sure a carb upgrade would give me more adjustability and performance though. I'm thinking of getting fake Chinese Mikuni 24mm for $30 first and trying that. And maybe a flat slide at some point. I'm sure a carb would get yours running better.

I ran into issues with how the wire the handlebars. Nothing like the pictures.
@bwxmoto Жыл бұрын
They had me confused for a minute. Ended up rotating them backwards instead of trying to twist them left to right. Maybe they changed something or maybe they installed the lines wrong on yours. Could take off throttle, clutch cables, and kill switch/ starter button wires, get the handlebars on there working with brake line, then re-install the other lines how you like. I was about to do that but ended up getting it to work how they had them. It's kind of annoying how short the brake line is though. You can route it behind the fork and that would give you a little more room if that's part of the problem.

Also the key switch mount should definitely go behind the bars, not in front like I first installed them in the vid.
