took a course in college many moons ago, knife making, we use lawnmower blades and cable wire, coolest class I ever took.....like the new Bronco Raptor 3.0L

@@TrailRecon we would use the wire cable for damascus knifes, heat it, pull it out, pound on it while twisting on it, and keep repeating till you got that look, lawnmower blades were easy the steel already is tempted the heat removes it, took this class in the industrial arts took some cool classes there took a printing course using the old presses and the type you did all by hand

I'm glad you did mention them even tho it was at the end and just a quick snippet lol.. but I will be pairing hers with the MDC-USA overland trailer LX model for the full build so I can keep her rig light and capable for when it's needed.

I'm sure you meant to say 6th gen 4runner since we are currently dealing with the rather long in the tooth 5th gen. Current speculators are saying 2024 model year however that's been the running joke for about 5 years now as its coming next year...yeah right. I would love to see your take on a 4runner if you were to build one out. I still in the process of building mine out and my current mod i just did this past weekend was the magnaflow overland exhaust. Spoiler alert it sounds great and it feels like there is a bit more pep imo. Great vid Brad, thanks.

I dig the old stuff. That extended cab R2.8 Scout looked really nice. The imported trucks, and especially the Land Rover Forward Control, are really cool. I wish more people built G-Wagens and used them like they were originally intended to be used. I'd love to see more Unimogs in the US, would have been cool to see if there were any there.

The new Rangers and Colorados look great and that’s coming from a Tacoma 3rd gen owner. Toyota definitely needs a refresh on the 4Runner and Tacoma. I’m bias but Tacoma’s are still the best looking mid size on and off the road. 😎

What Bronco bumper can be seen at 4:30? I don’t mind relocating the front camera, but I’m not going to mess with safety systems like the adaptive cruise control. The bumper at 4:30 looks intriguing.

I am also interested in this same bumper. I came to scour the comments to see if others noticed it and are asking about it too. Hook us up Brad! It would be great to get an entire video or write up of all of the Bronco bumpers that allow all of the tech to work, but I'm specifically interested in this one. Relocating the camera seems easy, but I've heard a lot of mixed reviews after folks have relocated the ACC sensor.

Too many car guys get caught up in the "my preferred brand is awesome, all others suck" nonsense. I drive a Jeep JL myself but love Broncos and 4Runners and Defenders and Tacomas and Colorados and all other off road trucks. We all share a hobby, we all love to get out in nature and appreciate it's beauty and the peace it has to offer, how you get there shouldn't matter, and anyone who subscribes to the "my brand is the only good brand" mindset can get bent.

It's honestly a balancing act and depends on many factors. Getting some adjustable shocks helps with making adjustments.

I wish I lived out west where overlanding and camping on public land was legal. I live in TN where they just made camping on public land (outside of designated camp sites) illegal. And trails around here are sparse. Still, I love the videos and love your vibe. I hope that maybe one day I'll be out west and could hit a trail with you in my own JL.
