Күн бұрын

This was the first multi-day trip that I would be taking my Jeep Gladiator on with my son and good friends Marco and Josh in their Jeep Wranglers. We headed North along the 395 highway towards Coyote Flats in search of new trails and camping sites. In part 1, we find some amazing places to spend the night, eat some great camp food, explore some trails just to see where they will lead and we run into a few challenges along the way.
Part 2 of this Adventure: • We Never Imagined We'd...
Our first Coyote Flats adventure: • You Need to Go Here on...

@@diegopena3663 Aint no reason to stop doing what you want to do, if a little bit of work and preparation can solve the issue. 😁 Also, most trips tend to be just a few days, you could pre-make the food at home, and keep it in a cooler. There's more than one way of getting around most issues. Be creative and have some fun with it. Heck, that could be part of the whole adventure, how to camp while being a vegan! You could probably start a KZbin channel on less. 🤣

You can fix that flickering by copying that clip to another layer of your timeline and moving it over one frame either ahead of your original clip or behind and lowering your opacity to to 50%. Or you can. Try to match up your shutter speed with your light. But since the clip's been shot you can try the first thing I mentioned. Hope that helps... Always enjoy your videos!! Keep up the great work!

I went up to this spot over the Labor Day weekend. Got up to the lake around 2 pm from LA, and there were already 5 different groups camped around the lake. I talked to a local and he said within the last month (august) that traffic on these trails increased 10 fold, and he couldn't believe so many people were up at the lake. Leaving Sunday morning, there was actually traffic going down the mountain. You certainly are an influencer Brad, and I'm a big fan.

IMO, its situational. I've seen LiteBrite thrash their Patagonia's and just abuse the hell out of them and not a single problem out of them. Are they perfect tires, no but this is the first time I've seen them with a cut sidewall or at least evidence of them.

Wow. I can't think of any better way I would rather have a tire go down. I can't believe there are people who would dare go out there without a spare. We just drove all day from the Sac area to try the Coyote Flat trail, (Sept 6, ‘19). Got there right before dusk and thought we could get through the tough spots before nightfall. I got up to the first steep hairpin turn and completely chickened out. I’ve driven the Rubicon Trail (jamboree) and had no fear, but when it comes to hugging cliffs, I’m out. I did chicken corners in Moab, fun, but that’s about my limits when it comes to 1k foot drops. Anyway, I was driving this one and had my husband scout out ahead, we weren’t with any others. It was sandy and I just didn’t feel the confidence necessary, despite 2015 Wrangler with front lockers. The popular trail guide said it was an intermediate trail, but that first hairpin really had me questioning that. Thank good there was a spot to turn around. Oh if only I didn’t have a fear of heights!

Yes, always have a spare or two when doing backcountry trails like this. There’s nothing worse than getting a flat and being stuck without a fix. If you puncture through the tread then you can usually patch it but sidewall damage usually won’t hold up if you try to patch it.

I totally agree. Why go out to great places and have crappy food? Makes no sense. I'm usually the one cooking and I do everything from paella to tacos (yes, including fresh tortillas), pot stickers to freshly baked sourdough bread. It's doable with fairly little and it has been done for a long time. Nothing better than enjoying a great view with great food and a nice glass of wine or other beverage of choice.

You guys are blessed to see all this beauty with your own eyes and to feel the fresh air in your lungs and on your skin. The clear water of stream and its music awesome. Best part was the rain accompanied with thundering, wow this is always music to my ears I just love it. What can be better than having a great meal by the stream with your friends. Was there no beer or you don't. Amazing, mesmerized. Thanks for sharing. God bless you all. 👍

Spectacular countryside. Spiking tyres happens a lot in outback Aus so always carry 2 spares and quality repair kit. Love your content
