Thank you for sharing; seeing these before and afters helps keep me motivated to continue getting out there, because you never know when a given place will burn and be changed forever!

Great video. Beachie Creek and Lionshead were absolute monsters. They destroyed all my favorite spots in the Clackamas River area along 224. It also got Red Lake in the Ollalie Lake area, which was my personal favorite camping spot in Oregon. Buddy of mine was up there over the summer and said it's completely unrecognizable.

This fires make me quite sad even with burns like this being somewhat natural sometimes. I haven't been back to Eagle Creek since it burned so I am glad of my memories of it as lush PNW woods. I"m so glad Jefferson Park was spared though.

Eagle creek is very beautiful still and tons of green is already back.

Hard to “like” this video bit thank you for sharing it. Slowly trail crews and the FS are getting things opened back up from the old fires.

If I remember correctly the first map, Tunnel Falls might have been burned 😭 The last time I visited Oregon and Tunnel falls was in summer 2017 😭

Yes the area at tunnel falls burned but as you can see in the pictures everything is coming back green very nicely.
