Small updates like this are awesome to see! I love seeing a new, bigger video from you every couple months or so, but the shorter, slightly more frequent ones are a great way to fill the gaps.

Titanfall 2 really shines as a package when you get into the multiplayer. It's the only FPS that I've really cared about in the last decade.

The maneuverability is great, and I probably should have talked about that some more, but I'm mostly a single player, story-driven kind of guy. Not much for competitive play.

The editing for your Seven Pirates H segment had me rolling laughing so hard xD Oh man, I’m sorry you didn’t like Recore! That was actually one of my first Series X games too, and while I never finished it on account of getting distracted by something else, I actually got pretty far in it (I think) and really enjoyed my time with it. I’ve been meaning to go back to it for a while, but given that it’s been a good few years now, I’ll probably have to start over because I remember almost nothing from my time with it before.

Small videos like this are great even when you aren't going super in depth into a game. Good to hear your thoughts on what you've been playing and maybe get exposed to new games I never heard of or previously wrote off before

I think tha I had a similar reaction to Trails from Zero - I first played thesame machine translated patch that you did and whilst I really liked the the game and thought that it was incredibly exciting in teh closing chapter - I couldn't really understand the sheer overwhelming love that so many seemed to have for the crossbell games. IBased on that original translations teh Sky and Cold Steel games were a whole tier better. Well I understand that love now and consider all of the arcs bascially equal now in how much I love them :)

Is Treasure Hunter G the Best Pre-rendered RPG on the SNES?

Best looking yes, but even then it's only a small handful of things in the game using pre-rendered CG. I'm pretty sure it's also the only other RPG that uses pre-rendered graphics lol.

Admittedly, while I don't think it's anything even remotely special and wouldn't really recommend to anyone...I have a soft spot for "Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates". It's just one of those experiences that came at just the right time for me. After playing a bunch of long and involved RPGs, I was starting to feel rather burnt out so a straightforwardly brief and silly experience ended up serving as a refresher of sorts. Which is kind of funny since I played the imported Vita copy so I have no idea what the story or characterizations actually are. Granted, probably for the best since whatever I made up in my head probably was better than what was actually there. Though I already liked the "Genkai Tokki" brand in general thanks to "Monster Monpiece" being a genuinely good TCG and "Moero Chronicles" being a pretty decent DRPG, even if its main monster girl gimmick ended up sort of a lie, so I figured I'd have an enjoyable enough time regardless. And that I did. I even went and imported "Castle Panzers" which was a similar enough situation, it being an SRPG instead. This series tackled quite the few different genres. If anything, the only outright negative sentiment I have is in regards to the molestation minigames. I've never liked any variant of this in any game I've played that had it, sexually focused or not. Even back in "Crystal Chronicles", I got annoyed having to manually repaint the Moogle for different elemental spells. It's a novelty at first, sure, but they quickly became so boring and tedious to constantly deal with. I know this is controversial to say around here but I'm genuinely glad this is one trend that got killed off in recent times.

I will say, at least with Seven Pirates H if there's anything somebody isn't clicking with it's a rather short game, so not too much over-stays its welcome.

​​@@TarksGauntlet True enough. Can't go wrong with a decent short experience...unless you severely overpaid for it anyway. It's one reason why I decided to get it myself. Well, besides the fact the art and character designs were done by Mota, whom I rather like. Kind of glad to see them getting more work in the industry proper, in contrast to their beginnings of working on "Touhou" doujin games. I even went and recently pre-ordered "Mon-Yu", which they also worked on. A bit of a bias i must admit.
