The final boss was a piece of cake...Honestly. This fight was litteraly the HARDEST. Thank God that Loewe doesn't have a second form having twice (or thrice) his actual stats.

This seems like a growing trend in the trails games...McBurn was easily harder than the bosses after him in CSII as well unless you decided to cheese the fight with cheap setups and builds. (And almost every fight can be cheesed like that so that doesn't really say much).

@@nesoukkefka1741 still took me 2 wipes before (i didnt retry) but i managed to destroy mc burn not so hard. The fight took ages but it was easy to just block everithing he fires on you, while loves monster destroyed my earthwalls first and then with his s-craft lowe instantly killed half of my team and the rest had barely any hp.... And only with la crest beeing up. Without lacrest he just instantly killed us even with outattacks he did 10k dmg.

I just beat SC and I didn't even realize how godly Kevin was. My setup was was Olivier and Scherazard because I have a fondness for the Classic 4-party crew I first started with in the series. Even so, it ended up being incredibly effective as I'd have Schera and Estelle on Earth Wall/Gaia Shield rushing with Schera's Heaven Kiss to turbo out their actions and left Death Screaming to OIivier (who I had the Gladiator Belt on) and Joshua. When Olivier wasn't Death Screaming, I'd have him constantly using his Quick Draw with a Strike 2 and Ruby Quartz to act as a substitute Death Scream as the damage ended up being relatively the same as a Death Scream if he got the Strike Crit.and was really effective at just mowing down groups of enemies. He was without a doubt the party member that carried me in quite a number of Nightmare fights because of how effective a gunner he was in the back.

Kevin is your BEST FRIEND the end game bosses, and Renne. Not bringing him is borderline suicidal for this fight. Clock Up EX, Earth Wall and fast casting are mandatory...and grail lockets. You should have 4 by the time you hit your first NG+ so yay!

I just finished this game today (Hard mode) and thanks for the video above for the insight. My team for this was Kevin(a MUST just for this battle only) and scherazard (her heaven kiss is the shit because it enables more strategies that you can control) I was against using Kloe because all she can do is just heal...and her crafts aren't that useful. It was a nice ending to choose schera too, so she can quote in and see her two disciples grow and mature right before her eyes. Though idk if it has any effect on the 'extra' dialogue and defeating Loewe was the toughest boss in the entire game!!! His limits were some BS...KO's the entire team if their HP was not above 9000. Not even the final FINAL boss was hard.

OMG. WE USED THE SAME TEAM. I think this is the optimal ( team for nightmare. Kloe for revive and healing and Kevin (a MUST) to avoid getting knocked out.

This is the optimal team for nm. Though not for this fight as unless you're absurdly overleveled, Kloe gets 1-hit killed which makes Olivier slightly better imo. Though I'm kinda nitpicking at this point.

​@@eduardojara6955 Probably because despite SC picking Kevin for this sets up TC, Kloe and Agate are the Non-Brights with the most to gain from overcoming Loewe. Kloe needs to prove her ideology versus Loewe pertaining to the Orbment discussion from FC, and since the end of the fist chapter of FC when he first ran into Loewe/"Lorence", Agate has been chasing Loewe, trying to overcome the man who represents the worst he could have become and prove him wrong. That's why those 2 are in the manga.

i'm currently at this fight with schera and olivier.... i can't do anything AT ALL, they have way too much turn for me to heal myself properly, even with zodiac casted and other buffs, they can kill my character in two turns... didn't even manage to kill the tiger, they always heal themselves + loewe.... this is the only fight that i have such a hard time to do... (i had the earthworm optional boss but i did find the solution afterward)... i don't know what to do.... i don't want to spent time to grind either

+gigaganon I'd highly recommend bringing Kevin - on higher difficulties he's almost mandatory for this fight if only for his S break to prevent him from completely destroying you immediately with his own S break. Kevin's S break should buy you enough time to cast clock down on him and clock up EX on your characters, which makes the fight a lot more manageable. I'd also recommend bringing only boots/armor that give + speed - it might look like the speed isn't a big deal psychologically when you're comparing +5 speed to something like +200 defense, but I assure you, that +5 speed is worth it. If you don't already have them, then you definitely want to get action and cast 2 on every character - the bonus those quartz give is just too big to not use (the higher level of action the better obviously - ideally you'd want action 5 (onyx gem) on everyone but action 3-4 is still worth using if you don't have enough time sepith). If you insist on not bringing Kevin however, then I'd suggest you start off by placing your characters on opposite corners (2 on each) - this way no matter who he targets with his S break he only hits 2 of your characters instead of 3-4. This does make you a bit more vulnerable to other AoE attacks later on - but his S break is way more dangerous than those attacks if you don't have earth guard up (on hard/nightmare it will easily OHKO some characters - on nightmare I'm not sure it's even possible to survive being hit by it even with Zane). Don't be afraid to use any items - this is the last difficult fight in the game so it doesn't really matter what items you spend as long as you have plenty of EP charges to get through through the last fight (if you don't spend items here you won't spend them anywhere pretty much). That means you can spam your zeram powder/capsules freely, bring emergency puppets on characters if you don't have particularly good items to bring on them etc.. I'm not sure how much else there is to say- this isn't a fight where there's really any gimmick in particular to exploit, you just need to pay close attention to the turn orders and such and win with just solid play in general.

Your saying Weissman is not difficult? I used attack food for most of these bosses. A hidden great resource that isn't well known but consistently does 3000 damage in a line or range depending on the item.

Except those items still DO damage based on the ENEMIES defense stats so even with my Kevin/Agate lv 99 party I pretty much had those items do PATHETIC damage on Nightmare mode at all. Especially since I would need to own 99 Zeram powders first and that's only possible on the VITA version of the game but on the Vita version the ATTACK FOOD items for SC and the 3rd are even MORE useless their stats got cut in HALF making them even MORE useless for Nightmare mode.

I think I have to point out that some Shining Pom Level up (ideally with your party at level 90-91) would have given a better Ats, which translates into more damage with Dark Matter. Plus, hitting him when he attacks Estelle or Joshua is a good idea since, aside from the damage, you fill the CP bar. Taking time to cancel his arts when you are under the influence of Max Guard is a good chance to hurt him too. Itemwise, using Mighty Essence and Power Meat Stews take care of your buffing, CP regeneration, AND heals. The strategy can be improved, but you got the basics already. Good job!

I think his sword style is similar to Agate's and Joshua's rather than any specific school. It's a mixture of what he learned throughout his life and from other enforcers during his time with the society.

I'll use a lv 99 party Agate/Kevin to join Estelle/Joshua yet at lv 99 On NG+ runs I still had every one of his attacks be 1 hit kills and on the EVO Vita version I owned 99 Zeram Powders before this fight on Nightmare mode at lv 99 and pretty much used ALL of them for this fight.

i use kloe and mueller for this fight with kloe str def down then just burst loewe down from 50% to 0 mueller can do 7k dmg with auto atk + s craft with over 1300 str. i give everyone in my party confuse immunity and proxy puppet

+Maho Misawa Definitely not impossible, there are a number of possible strategies I just consider this one to be the one that requires the least preparation (without relying heavily on luck). This fight is actually a long long way from being impossible, and you'll note that my characters are pretty low levels too... but ultimately if you aren't bringing Kevin you're kind of just making it harder on yourself because he's definitely by far the best character in the game thanks to his S break (he also has arguably the best orbment to top it off too). If you were *really* min-maxing I think it would be possible to beat 5 Loewe's at once (with each of them potentially summoning 2 clones too) by using something like zane+agate with 2 emergency puppets on everyone, stacking as much attack as possible on everyone and grinding them to level 99 and just S breaking them all to death (I'm pretty sure with 3 S breaks per character it's possible to do enough damage to just outright kill him). You can theoretically get as many emergency puppets as you want from fishing somewhere iirc. - as said, a strategy like that requires way more preparation though.

I sometimes was attacked by 1craft and the scraft directly afterwards. Having two shields is the only way of surviving this.... Sadly I had no kevin since I was playing the whole game with sherazard and kloe mainly.

RNG Factor can be a bitch. In my fights he used his crafts and s-crafts far more often. Dont know if knowing, that some of your members are shielded will make the AI decide to not use it (even when he was able to hit unshielded people) And that he is always spamming useless earthwall. He did use it only one time in my fight. But i really see the worth of your speed. Most of the times when he used his art (the swords in a circle) I didnt even have the chance to move out of the circle. I even thought its an on hit art.

+EX Heihachi Gladiator's headband is definitely not worth it - it won't increase the CP gain from the gladiator's belt which is the majority of my CP gain, and more importantly it does not give me any speed. I want as much speed as I can get on all of my characters. As far as regular attacks go, I'm not sure Joshua would've even done damage with his regular attack unless I spent time buffing his attack - I probably could've done it faster with Kloe debuffing Loewe's defense and using Morale to buff Joshua's attack, but frankly the fight was a pushover at that stage of the fight anyway so there wasn't really any point putting effort into thinking about it (and earlier in the fight regular attacks are definitely worse as they won't hit all enemies). Without buffing his attack he definitely would not have been doing more damage - He only hit Loewe's clones for ~700 damage, and Loewe has significantly more defense than his clones. I'm pretty sure with cast 2 on casting spells is also faster than actually attacking (ie. you'll get to your turn again faster). I don't think dual strike would be worth it either considering how much damage the S break does compared to any of my other attacks and I'd rather save my CP for S breaks.

I killed Loewe in a more "idiotic" way: I killed mobs until I managed to make 99 auroras (the food). I joined the battle with Estelle, Joshua, Julia and Mueller. The first three were with earth guard and the last one was using the "auroras". Hahahahaha
