It's funny cause I always considered Rean to be like Sora. He's always at the Center of all his friends & creates Connections. He's also extremely kindhearted & forgiving that will even go as far as to save those that tried to kill him once. Rean like Sora only has an alternate form where he goes Berserk.

this reminds me when I joked about Rean's situation: "when I get down there, I'll kill you all!...wait! It's actually happening!" Also, I know it's not the perfect timing but...despite in ogre form, Rean is running around normally(because under player control) and opening chest and maybe upgrading quartz...and when I was playing this part I even hit and run my enemy if my sneak attack failed, I find that rational reaction quite funny.

Mind you it's the power of the Curse of Erebonia juicing Rean with cataclysmic level of power, not so much Rean's SU which he does master in Hajimari. Rean is very strong on his own, but even with the full might of the curse backing him, McBurn and his blade would decimate the guy.

@@coast2coast-295 McBurn is a special case, though. He's strong enough that unleashing his actual form would burn everything around him to cinders. Rean is AT LEAST Aurelia level when fully powered and juiced up.

@@CrowYaeger Oh for sure, Great Twilight Rean is a force to shake the world. But McBurn just transforming is enough to decimate it. McBurn had every reason to transform to get the one thing he wanted, but he openly stated that doing so when the world is not under the effects of the Great Twilight would bring about a literal calamity. He's a Demon God that shouldn't exist in their world. He's just on a whole different level than the entire cast. lol

LMAO, it takes longer for the Demon form to show when you have Rean dressed in his repaired instructor coat, noticed that when I equipped it since it showed Spirit Unification for a short time before reverting to the demon

@@davidtimmer596 You are correct. The trails series' jp VAs are so freaking stacked, bunch of all star casts, rean's va especially. Hence why, in the crossbell duology and the sky trilogies' evo, Estelle and Lloyd have more of their lines voice acted. (Lloyd's VA is an all star cast as well, just not on Rean's VA level)

Just beat 4 today. Without any spoilers it takes about 25 - 30 hours to get Rean back. Which may seem like a lot, but my final playtime for the game was around 120 hours so take that as you will. Absolutely worth it.

Best parts of this game was this, the pantagruel section and the McBurn fight at the end of the game. Aside from that CS4 was trash asf.
