Yeah I spent quite a while trying to catch a shiny beldum finding one wasn't the problem but it just didn't want to stay in the ball and that for so long that a shiny metang spawned in the back as well...so master ball it was didn't want to miss the other one of course

when the milcery events ran... I used time manip +avoiding connecting to internet up until a few days after it ended so i could catch SIXTY THREE MILCERY. Yes, I did manage to do so. Yes, I have ever single Alcremie shiny even tho you can't see the difference (the mon icon shows what swirl or creme type they are at least)

Dude, when the Indigo Disk first launched, i was just casually exploring around the place and came across a shiny alolan geodude. I failed it cause i forgot it explodes and was to excited to save. (It was full odds, too. No shiny charm and no sandwhich. I was literally just exploring)

Having hunted two Metang from an outbreak in the snow, I feel your pain. They are best hunted at night, and when I actually got them, they were super obvious, actually, but it doesn't stop my paranoid brain going "okay, but what if" every few minutes lol

And regarding ice types, you can isolate hunt alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix in the Torchic cave! If you stand in the little nook on the right side and have your pokemon KO the spawns (occasionally sending it back out). It's honestly a pretty chill hunt

The paradox shinies are just going from metal look to more metal look. Metagross was blueish and went to a white silver and changed the accents to a different colour than silver.

Funny thing I found two random shiny pokemon it that was not a sandwich 1. Was a shiny Geodude while I was shiny hunting a Squirtle 2. My shiny lucky has been so good since I got the indigo disk, first I get 2 shiny froky, one with the fierce mark then, I get a outbreak of metang and get 2, + I was on the mountain, and the icing on the cake I found a outbreak of sindiquill and immediately found the shiny. I love this game

there reason why the metagross line's shiny is good, and the violet paradoxes are bad is because, every single one is just grey, even after the original game came out, and game freak saw the fans reaction to them, they didnt change anything for the new paradox legends

I actually don’t think Duraladon is that bad of a hunt. I made a dragon sandwich and found one within ten minutes. It stood it relatively well considering that not only does the rope turn chrome but it’s a little darker than the original form. So for me, the hunt was not that bad

It feels like the shiny odds are boosted in the indigo disk. I've only hunted for 1 and a half hours and I already caught a shiny alolan exeggutor, litten, and tepig. I also failed a tepig by killing it in synchro mode, so in total I found 4 shinies in 3 sandwiches.
