Hooray Risey🎉 I never lost hope in his ability to do well. He's had that fighting spirit since birth. I've seen horses with his condition come out on top. It takes love dedication and willingness of the horse to participate and give their all. Well we know that Yvonne is giving her all to help our Risey and it shows. I think we all can relate to the favorite Teacher syndrome, the one that believes in us when the chips are down and all around us is speaking negatively and giving advice as to what she should do . Well Yvonne the Great Teacher she is saw his possibilities, his amazing personality and believed he should have a chance at saving his life. I've LOVED Friesians ever since the day I saw them being ridden in the Dutch Dunes as a kid when we were living there. One of my biggest regrets is never owning one. I've had thoroughbreds, Saddlebreds and Morgans but never a Friesian and now it's too late. (too disabled now). But I can still enjoy watching those majestic creatures.

I first thought he is seeing that sign laying on the concrete pathway and is close to it. When you reversed he was not really that close..I dont know. Our Lady In Waiting and Saly did great taking their worming medicine. Curb this reaction by not stopping him in that area when you are done with the exercise. Stop on the other side of the circle and give lots of praise and scratches. Rusty is just distracted by the gate and way to the others. Perhaps encouring a keep up of pace before the apex so he does not slow down at that point. Having a temp assistant may help break the habit as from this video is is certainly trying if on 😂... I am sure he should get better over time.. Yvonne he's using himself better and better, neck scoping, his top line getting stronger, gait just gets more regular. I bet only an experienced horse person could see there's an irregular movement with his back legs if they did not know he had Wobbler's. Though Risey keeps acting out in the same spot when lunging in the arena, his trot seems much looser and more even, yay! So much improved from last year. Perhaps he's reacting to sensing Yfke in that spot - it's near her stall. The horses don't seem to like that worm medicine much! It's cute to hear Vera's giggle when Coralle reacts to the taste.

It was so amusing to me that Risey kept stopping at the same place and doing goofy steps when he went counterclockwise. I laughed 🤣 everytime he did that. Going in a circle clockwise, Risey did fine. He's such a beautiful and sweet horse.
