What streamlining? The A3s were never streamlined, there "successors" the A4s had streamlining, but never A1/A3s.

I saw her the other week on a rare run from cleethorpes through Scunthorpe and to Doncaster and the up to Newcastle and the run was named the tynesider, absolute beast of engineeering

I used to be crazy about train when I was young (mostly steam trains). But since I don't live in England I never saw the steam trains I liked, so my Mum or Dad would buy me DVDs on train in England, North America and Australia.

Speaking of steam sound supreme, there releasing james horax's LBSCR e2 more commonly known as The class of loco Thomas was based on ^_^ so id imagine everyone pretty excited about that. Great video I haven't seen the sss sound pack for flying Scotsman in action.

1923 was build date for GNR as Nigel Gresley A1 1472. Then rebuilt as A3 during 1928 when LNER formed and to improve power after defeated by GWR Castle. Ended service in 1963 as 60103.

I dunno were you got that information from but it’s false.. Scotsman was build in 1923 as LNER A1 1472. In 1924, she received her famous 4472 running number as well as a new improved tender like all the other A1s at the time. She wasn’t rebuild into an A3 until 1948 when she received her 60103 running number.

I think in the 1970s... 4472 had visited the United States,and was put to US Standards..She can be seen in a photo being towed by a Penn Central GG1.

1969-1972 she got a Pyle National Headlight, Southern Railway of America Bell and Chime Whistle (heard in this video, she still has it). At trip bankrupted Pegler, her first owner.

Yep, she's been running around the UK for most of 2016 so far. Sadly you won't be able to look up when & where exactly she travels, the first run saw so many trespassing incidents that it was decided to keep the timetables hidden from the public.

Ranimaux Simple, you wouldn't really. In most cases, the driver would be sticking his head out the side for the best view, if the window absolutely needed wiping off though, reaching round with a cloth would do the trick. (don't take that as 100% fact, just recalling what I remember being told once) :P
