I wonder what would happen if these steamers went up against each other with a full rake of carriages (like 10 to 14 of them) and see how they fair and prove what steamer is the ultimate express engine! The added weight of the consist could create an interesting dynamic… as it isn’t just about speed in my idea. It also shows the raw power of the engine!

Reminds of me of Scotsman Mallard race you did 4 years ago. Except, Scotsman had an extra tender and her most iconic livery. This time Bittern’s got the extra tender.
