The platform line at Liskeard is 25 mph. The 5 only applies to the diverge onto the main line.

The process at Coombe No1 Ground Frame is Train arrives from Looe, guard leaves train and changes points to the Looe line while driver changes ends and then moves the train forward clear of the points. Guard then changes points back to the Liskeard line, locking the train into the Looe section and then re-joins the train for its journey to Looe. On the return journey, the train stops short of the points, guard leaves train and sets to points to the Looe direction, train moves forward clear of the points and guard then changes points back to the Liskeard direction and re-joins the train while the drive changes ends. It would have been nice if one of the journeys chosen could have included the reversal at Coombe Junction Station, but perhaps the simulator does not cover that part of the branch. I took this route on a return journey a couple weeks ago on a custom made scenario. It's a really unique freeware route that's pretty underrated with great views and a different approach to Train Simulator featuring more branch lines, than mainline services. I'd definitely suggest trying out freeware routes if you roughly meet their requirements, adds a whole new experience to the sim without costing you extra if you have the DLC.

Thanks. Interesting to note that on the current timetable the intermediate stations, except for Coombe Junction Halt, are shown as Request Stops but, for example, on weekdays there are 5 trains a day (Liskeard to Looe) and 6 trains a day (Looe to Liskeard) that do not stop at any intermediate station.

I did this journey (in real life) last Saturday. Glad GWR were no longer running a class 153 the route as the class 150 was full and standing. Does anyone know if the 40 speed limit still exists as the highest speed board I noticed was 30?

Is there a Tamar Line scenario (Plymouth - Gunnislake). That's a nice route. Especially the viaduct at Calstock. There is also a reversal at Bere Alston station and a few level crossings where the train has to stop, sound the horn and then continue.

I really want to see a completely upgraded 153 - the one we currently have is really dated, and I feel it's only suitable for AI. If a new one is made, I'll absolutely use it in future videos!
