Never seen this before but just watched Monkey Trouble and remembered that Thora has been in some good movies. Googled them and came across this. I love the Hostel movies and this gives me a feel of them.

It's a good film, I like it. It's like Hostel, except people pay for medical purposes instead of just torture. Americans go on a train and the people on it are paying them to help their loved ones get better. It's the only way they can save them. It has great gore, so if you're looking for that, this is the movie for you. Enjoy!

The other girl suffered just a bad a fate as the guys. Imagine being maimed with only one leg, in a country you don't even know and are now the sex slave of a bunch of soldiers...That's just terrifying to imagine what they did to her

It doesn't take much to entertain me when it comes to movies. The actors just have to be believable (not obviously acting) and somewhat relate-able, the special effects should have limited CGI and look realistic as possible, they should go easy on background music (unless it's a movie about music), and I don't care if the base of the story has been told a thousand times already as long as they tell it better. I personally liked Hostel, Hostel II, and Touristas, so Train was just as awesome in my opinion. When that one girl was stripped naked, chained up by her lower jaw via a meat hook, raped, and then thrown off the train to be mauled in a field by german shepherds. That scene was so disturbing, gave my nightmares.

If you have Saw and Hostel in your collection and you wanna add a bit more obscure, more indie type of movie to it, then sure go ahead. Might make a great double-feature movie night with Hostel or something…but like…lower your expectations. While Hostel definitely was a torture porn, it did have suble commentary on travelling, culture, racism, language and language barriers, prejudices, gender roles (especially the 2nd movie), you can tell Eli Roth is a movie buff. I mean, there are academic papers written ABOUT Hostel and its themes and it’s overall place within the horror genre…..TRAIN, well.. lets just say it doesn’t have none of that. Nobody is gonna write academic papers about this one…..
