On the pronunciation thing… we have a Des Moines, WA. It’s not pronounced like others. Or at least as I’ve heard the others. 😂

You pronounce Ferromex , like this FARROW-MEX , or like ARROW with an F in front and add a MEX. at the end. of course in Spanish you roll the R and say it faster And Rio Grande in Spanish you pronounce it like REO- GRAN-DAY. But of course faster and roll the R! I should know i live by the Rio Grande.At Eagle Pass, Tx., Home of the former Eagle Pass Branch/Mexico Interchange of the Southern Pacific, San Antonio Division.
