Sternum pops are actually normal. All major joints in your body that allow for motion are synovial joints. Synovial joints have a synovial membrane that encapsulates the joint surfaces and the synovial fluid. Nitrogen gas builds up inside of this space. As you move it creates gas bubbles and based on the shifting pressure inside of the synovial membrane, it can actually cavitate (pop). If you haven’t mobilized that joint it likely won’t pop, but after setting a 400+ pound bar on, it will likely pop after a while. It’s not an indication there is a fracture or that you are shifting the joint “into place”.

I used to train with rage myself but whenever my body wouldn't perform, the rage would turn to my body. I got lots of injuries through that. Be careful with what you direct your rage towards. I've learned to deal with my aggression in different ways which helped me lose it and calm down to the point where I'm actually one with my body a lot more now. Training is feeling a lot better now that there's a lot less rage

A lot of trained fighters martial artist, boxers, wrestlers, use anger/rage to fight fearless and extra strength from adrenaline. I used to apply anger that way but it can become very dangerous if you get “ triggered “ in your personal life. Thank God I quit doing that because things can get out of hand especially if you combine alcohol and drugs to that angry spirit inside. You hear about professional boxers that had that problem like Tyson when he was younger.

When you're a nice guy you have rage you're just thinking about when it's appropriate to let it out. Training is one of those times. Back when I lifted weights in high school that was part of the reason I trained, just to have somewhere to let my rage out. That in turn led to me getting stronger and stronger. It was said you could hear me from the playground on the other side of the cafeteria when I lifted. I bad wanted to do powerlifting but my school didn’t have that :-( They would only let you lift if you were on a sports team so I played football till I couldn’t stand it anymore, and thus was the end of my weightlifting career. Got my ticket to the SMOE though! Can’t wait to be there!!!
