During the afternoon we see Eurostars at Beckenham Junction, Kent House and Brixton. The last passenger services to depart Waterloo were the 18.09 Paris and the 18.12 Brussles which was named "Waterloo Sunset" are seen at Vauxhall. The group of men taking photographs at Vauxhall were involved in the construction of Waterloo International. And that was it, the end of a short and interesting railway era. As the last arriving passengers passed through Waterloo, security equipment was being dismantled for reuse at the new Ebbesfleet International. Overnight, operations moved to St Pancras and the first train departed just after 11am. Waterloo International is now mothballed. The Eurostar trains quickly had their third rail equipment removed.
