Little Bernese Mountain Dogs surely are the cutest puppies of any dogs, they're so amazing!

My Berner is 18 months now and a beautiful, good girl. I think being consistent is the key. It's a grind, but working obedience every day is the key. Having a dog that will come, sit, and stay on command is so beneficial for you and especially the dog. Berners struggle being away from their people and when they're behaved you can take them anywhere. Such a great breed.

Your handling of the little dog is just great to watch. You are very very nice person which is reflected by the way you are dealing with this little puppy. Heinz, 64, from Germany

I just got a Bernese Mountain Dog. He is 13 weeks old and he is a pain and so stubborn, but he's hyper and very loving. Now if I can get him to stop trying to eat my socks lol. I was looking for a training video. Glad I found this one. Been training him to sit but he seems to want to spin a couple times before he sits down but he's getting a handle of it. Getting him to stay is another matter. He follows me everywhere. Must be consistency is key with this one. Thanks

We have had our 4month berner now for a month.He also loves my socks and sometimes 🦶 foot.👍❤️

@Rudimentary007 mine is now over a year old. He has a bit of a dominance issue now as he now demands what he wants. He constantly wants me to pet him, and when I stop petting him he will start to hit my hands with his head and lift my arms. He's not mean but he does start to get a little bit aggressive when he doesn't get what he wants. Not sure what to do about that

On our 3rd. For the last 23 years these dogs have been great. Yes, they can be stubborn, and many other things. But we would never have another breed.

I have a 3 month old Berner and she’s the best. Potted trained her in 2 weeks. And giving her commands are going well. She’s a very intelligent dog.

I have trained K9's for the police dogs years😢 ago. One of my potty training techniques was to take paper towels step on them to absorb the pee then take the paper towels out side lay them on the grass where you would like them to relieve themselves do the same with the poopy accidents and you will have her house broke in no time at all Also when outside walk them around until they pee or poop don't just ask her if she have to go potty she doesn't know what you're talkin about it the moment.

Good luck)

Has your puppy had his 2nd shots already? I've been concerned about Parvo where I live with my new puppy. We're waiting for his 2nd shots in mid December to go out on the grass. Maybe I'm being overly worried?
@annakelley2736 Жыл бұрын
Just to clarify, I am not an expert. Parvo is transmitted by direct dog-to-dog contact or contact with contaminated feces, environments, or people. In an area like this, where she lives in the middle of nowhere and has a very low amount of people around, it's okay to bring your puppy out in the grass. If you live in the city or a suburb I would not bring your puppy out in the grass. Your own, private backyard is usually okay, but any highly populated area where dogs tend to be is not safe. Now, this also tends to vary depending on your location. Some areas may have a higher rate of parvo than others, so it is important to get your vet's opinion on how cautious you should be in your own geographical area. I know this was posted like 2 months ago, but I thought I would comment anyway.

We had a berner many years ago when they were a relatively rare breed. People should be aware that Bernese Mountain dogs are especially vulnerable to dying from Lymphoma It is what killed our berner at a relatively young age.. Additionally, you may see lots of ads claiming that Bernese mountain dogs are very laid back. Our puppy was one of the most hyper dogs that we have ever had. Clearly, this woman is not a dog trainer. I am speaking as someone who has extensive experience as a trainer. amd who competed extensively in obedience trials with multiple dogs. "Lymphoma or lymphosarcoma is a type of cancer that afflicts Bernese Mountain Dogs more than other breeds. This disease makes the body form abnormal lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell. Because white blood cells can be found throughout the body, this cancer can show up almost anywhere."

Super Video. Nur soll man niemals einem Hund auf den Rücken hinten drücken um ihn zum sitzen zu zwingen!!! Sehr ungesund für di Gelenke!!!
