"Thanks, Greg, for taking the time to chat with me about training data, analytics, and the all-important return on investment. Your insights on how to secure a seat at the boardroom table were invaluable. I’m particularly excited about the new developments with xAPI and how we can effectively record training activity. I can’t wait to dive deeper into this topic and unpack the 'how-to' at your exclusive upcoming conference. Looking forward to it!"

A real pleasure Stacey and I trust the video helps put some of the pieces of this huge puzzle together for you. If you have any more questions then fire them through. Were bringing together the Conference now and will advise of the dates shortly.

Video looks great, I now want to know more about xAPI and get a seat at the boardroom table... I can see xAPI having so many uses across so many industries. How great to be able to gather usable data on how and where people learn most... yes those formal training opportunities will always be needed but how are people then using and developing / sharing their learning over time (or not... and if not how can we boost that??).... just like in school, learning doesn't just happen in the classroom, far from it, and it would be amazing to have more tangible insights into this. And yes, clear benefits for organisations to demonstrate / evaluate whether or not training is making a difference. I imagine this would also be an invaluable tool to project the roi of actually investing in an improved training process / overall learning culture in an organisation where this is lacking.

Hi @mielsy and thanks for watching. I agree, so often we focus on the formal learning and feel that's were it should all happen. However people need to practice, they need to be mentored and nurtured through to proficiency and we often don't design that experience, we just hope it will happen. With xAPI, I'm in love with it and will share more video's about that soon. It's so flexible and we're even looking at it in a Primary production setting for graziers, where sheep can have experiences, and we can use xAPI to record that. I'd love to have a little flock of xAPI sheep.
